Thanks Liz. It seems like months the last time i read a spoiler. Some seem pretty good. Things might heat up a little at AMC.

I just can't get excited about the Terry/Annie stuff. Maybe things will change for me, but I am SO SICK of the abuser storyline now. That belongs to the Lavery's and they haven't allowed them to fully explore the issue. Why move on to a new couple with it?

I didn't know another abuser story was in the works. I am looking forward to Josh and Jr smacking each other around. That's sad, all I got to look forward to is a silly fight. Oh and Dixie's secret boyfriend. I wish they would bring back JFAP. At least she kept me amused.

Just the whole thing about Annie escaping her abusive husband with her small daughter... Terry being sexually abusive towards Lily... it looks like they'll try to pull that into the story a little and I'm still waiting for them to explore it with the Lavery's.

I still can't get over the absolute waste of potentially heartbreaking and engrossing storyline with the 3 Lavery sibs. I kept waiting for some family therapy scenes. Cam, Jeff & Connie have such good chemistry those scenes would have been riviting. But, hey, why write something that would MAKE SENSE and be INTERESTNG!!! I really think that "family" dramas are just as interesting as "romantic" dramas. I guess the writers don't think we'd be interested in anything that doesn't involve sperm, babies, or love "triangles."

I feel the same way about it LL. I don't understand why they have such an awesome trio (Cam, Connie and Jeff) working together with a juicy issue like that and haven't explored it at all.

It's like once they moved out of the Pine Cone they weren't allowed to all three be in the same scene together for longer than 20 seconds. And most of those were in PV jail. I don't suppose there's a chance in Hades that once Jonathan and Lily are over that the writers might explore the Lavery family dynamics. I think there's a lot of stuff there that's never been talked about. And what with Ryan becoming a dad it would make perfect sense for him to want to work through his childhood with some professional help. Erin is in a sexual relationship for the first time--surely that has brought up issues for her. And Jonathan, well, recovering his mental abilities doesn't cure his horrific childhood. Come on writers, this shoud be such an obvious storyline with lots of potential angst.

I hate that tptb cant write umbrella SLs. Ryan should know about John being in the hospital and Jon and Erin should be involved with the baby and JR drama

I hate that tptb cant write umbrella SLs. Ryan should know about John being in the hospital and Jon and Erin should be involved with the baby and JR drama ICAM. Why can't they let families be together instead of pairing everyone off and then only showing them with their partner. Maybe my family is weird (okay, no maybe about it) but we actually spend time together. Brothers, sisters, inlaws, nephews, nieces, grandparents. We fight, make up, judge each other, get in each other's business sometimes. Hey, it's just a family thing. What's the point of giving these characters families if they never get to spend any real time with them. They only time we see families together on this show is at court hearings and in the PV hospital. I'd say funerals but apparently when you die in PV they just stuff you in the ground with as little fuss as possible and move on. Ah, can you feel the love?

Oh, I am so glad you guys feel the same way I do about the Lavery family. I have always thought exploring the childhood of the sibs in some type of therapy would make an awesome storyline. Cam, Jeff and Connie are so good together. I miss seeing them interact as a group. What a waste not to use these guys in a storyline like that.

All three of them would be more than able to tackle that subject. Plus... Aidan could be involved for moral support - (score!!)
I think writing for that topic is above what the current writers are capable of doing well though, so maybe it's just as well.

He's been knocked unconscious by two of the three Laverys. That should count for something. Apparently you have to be "jumped" into the Lavery crew. ;D ;D
