I wonder if they did bury him too... otherwise, why the fake alibi?
and the real problem is so few people both hated Madden AND wanted to find Kate.

Well Tad seems to know something about Dixie, I don't see what but it makes her guilty. Go figure. I mean they pretty much cleared Jamie and JR, I don't buy it was Juila AT ALL...and why do Dixie and Zach need this elaborate alibi if they are innocent? What were they REALLY doing that night then?
LOL, wouldn't it be funny if it came out they really did have sex that night?

I dont see that Jamie and JR are cleared... their alibi is each other and they've been wonky about it...
I tried explaining Zach's plan to my hubby.. his reply is it makes Zach and Dixie seem more guilty... then he made me promise never to explain soap plots to him again.

well cleared them as in no one seems to care what they were up to anymore. LOL. They made Zach and Dixie look even more guilty than JR and Jamie so....

That's my favourite theory: they haven't decided yet, it'll be whoever is expendable at the end. LOL.

my prayers will be answered if it was zach. ok - i don't waste prayers on soaps. that would be just wrong!!! but i am hoping!!!!! he'll get away with it but i want kendell to know. she had said a few weeks ago about how she couldn't believe zach could do anything like that. the torture etc.

they certainly are downplaying the torture aspect, which is so wrong. Josh doesn't seem to care about finding the killer at all, they had Krystal and Tad saying multiple times that whoever offed Madden was a "hero"... Like we'll somehow forget how gruesome it was if all the characters do?

i didn't notice but you are right. what madden went thru was pure torture. and poof - no big deal. after josh burried his dads ashes at the site of his torture (out of raw anger) and found who his biological parents are that whole aspect was dropped.
they made such a huge deal about maddens torture and death. maybe they finally realized they went waaay to far with that SL?

Maybe, but I think it's insulting to have Josh not care at all. When he got mad at Kendall for making that speech, that was the first time I even remembered that Josh loved Greg and might care about who killed him. Instead he spends all his time mooning over Babe. Nice priorities there.
What should I care about who killed Greg if his own (adopted?) son doesn't?

true. josh loved madden his whole life. he recently found out what he did. but that can't possibly get rid of all the childhood memories etc. i could understand his confusion but that was his father. hell-he is happy as heck fawning over babe.
i hate the way they just drop things. amc is the worst for erasing things tho oltl is a close second.

Tex... you called it!
Also, how CONVENIENT is it that in a world of on-liners, Lily ends up chatting with Terry the Perv? Good grief. Pine Valley really is the Bermuda Triangle where all roads lead the characters right back to each other.
I think TPTB have written the Madden story where they could make anyone guilty if someone didn't renew a contract or if they decided to let someone else go. But I still think the fallback will be Julia. Mostly because I don't think that (if everyone stays on the show) they'll make Tad guilty. I also think they'll write Dixie as an innocent victim in this, which would mean Zack would have to be too. And if Jacob stays, I don't think they'll go down the murder route again with JR, which would clear Jamie. It could be David though and the writers could easily get him out of the charges. David has a way of landing on his feet.
I don't like the way they are writing David though. I know they are doing it to facilitate the Zack/Dixie/Kendall stuff, but it's still stupid.

I dont think they dropped Josh's involvement in the SL... but first he thought Spike was his dad's and therefore he believed everything he ever thought about his dad was wrong and everyone was saying all these horrible things about Greg and he wouldn't refute them and it overwhelmed him... then he learned about himself and it just made his feelings about Greg more confused... the fact he reacted the way he did to KEndall's speech shows he still (deep down) loves his "dad" and all the man did for him

It's not really coming across to me that he cares enough though....I'm disgruntled that his entire storyline is about Babe when it should be about him dealing with the Greg fallout and what to do with Erica and Jeff. He had one lousy scene with them! Greg is coming across as an afterthought with him to me.
Big surprise that AMC would take their two major storylines and turn it into the All About Babe show though. LOL.
