Ah, Casino junk....yeah, if she never caught on, it's because she was never given a real oppurtunity to.I mean, her "big" s/l went to hell because they never showed the Lavery's working the past out together and when they paired her with Aiden she was never on. She was not given a fair shake like they did with Babe, Colby, and (I guess now) Annie. When I watched Erin was hardly ever on...

Yeah, she hasn't been on a lot lately, but she is a character with tremendous potential and ties to PV. She wasn't exactly a hated character- just an underused one. At least she has talent unlike so many of the newbies.

Oh, I completely agree. When she first came on i was thinking, "finally, we have an actress here". She had great potential. That's what I meant in my previous post-if no one "got into her",it's because the oppurtunity was never given to the character (or actress). Instead, we were bombarded with the same boring and annoying characters...I mean both Terri and Connie were under-used but I liked both of them and then we had a show hijacked by characters we didn't care about or were ruined to the point of us not caring. This is one of the reasons I can't and will not watch again...

That comment pisses me off. Anytime... ANYTIME she has been given actual dialogue she has been fun to watch. Connie can't help it that he character was written so poorly and so rarely. The scenes with Josh recently were fun I thought. so what if they didn't ultimately pair her with Josh it still showed there was some potential for her character. AMC can only do romantic stories if one or both of the characters has issues, well!!!! Erin has issues people... explore it!

I am only hanging on by the smallest of threads. If they ruin Jon, I'm outta there. And I'm afraid this just might do it.

I just wanted to clarify my last post.... CONNIE has been interesting to watch. The character of Erin has had it;s boring moments but Connie Fletcher has made the best of it I think.

I agree Plat. when she first came to AMC, her scenes were so great. I loved the Nova Scotia scenes. She was a strong, determined woman, with definite plans on how to protect her beloved brother. She even stood up to Ryan. When she first came to PV, she was still the same girl, standing up for her brother against most of PV, including Aidan. It seemed after tiic broke up Erin & Aidan, the character was rather discarded. Instead of developing the character more, we were bombarded by all the newbies and their s/l's. I think Connie did a great job with what was given to her. I am so pissed!

Erin is still WAY MORE interesting than Di. Sorry, but that girl is as boring as watching paint dry these days.
