Confusion, the New Years toast...the lonely guy toasting to himself....his name is Kenny Alder. He was Fusions first lawyer I believe. He had it bad for Simone, even proposed and asked her to leave PV. yet he shows up now......

Hmmm...that is curious. I'm glad you cleared that up. I didn't watch it back then and I was going WTF? Who the hell is this guy? ;D

I just chalked it up to another one of the great writers 'WTF?' moments.

apparently, he's back. though i'm going to say right now, if they make him the killer, this is ultimately the worst murder mystery EVER. the second he popped up on the screen today, everyone screamed about how he HAS to be the one. obvious much? it better damn well NOT be him.
that being said, we need a cute hot lawyer...wait a tick...could he be the one who's "after jonathan"?

Why would he be after Hockett? I know Jon worked there for awhile, but I've only got scant details.

it would be easy to write a backstory though. Kenny left years ago. we know Jon had abusive relationships with other women prior to Maggie, could he be someone's brother? could they have went to school together? the possibilities are endless without it being too contrived.

Very true! Anything that gives him a good s/l I'm all for. But, I wish people would stop going after the poor guy. Can't he just have some Jomanda happiness for a little while?

Would you rather he had some Jonabeth happiness?

eh...i think we, as fans, need him to continue to "take it on the chin" for his past mistakes/deeds. This way the character remains "grey" which means he can remain interesting. I dont' want everyone to accept Jonathan, keeps the character more interesting and keeps storyline possibilities open for him.

Would you rather he had some Jonabeth happiness? I think that sounds great together, don't you? Kinda rolls right off the ole tongue... And I guarantee there is not a dirty thought that is going through your head that hasn't gone thru mine Tex, I don't want him to be happy, fade -into- the- sunset Jon, I just want a different type of conflict for him for a while. The possibilities are definitely there. Although Jon is pretty handy with a gun

i think that particular brand of conflict will forever be with character but yeah, we some balance. i'm still bitter that they don't model him more closely to Todd Manning on OLTL. possibilities galore.

We can always hope for a new HW. He could easily go from supporting actor to lead actor with the right s/ls. For now, I'll take Hockett whenever - and however - I can get him.

recasting people, especially actors who didn't have big roles to begin with is not uncommon. Days, for example, has several people on who used to be differernt roles
