If, and only if, Stuart had gone to them, saying... my back has been getting worse, I really can't put in these long days anymore, could I possibly be written out.. then I'd accept them killing off Alan, especially if he'd been given a dramatic, heroic send off (taking a bullet for Jason lets say) but firing him?
THEY SUCK!!!!!

Firing Stuart was pretty much it for me. I always loved him (even when he was a strung-out drug abusing once-attempted wife murderer who was sleeping with a prostitute to get drugs. Hmmm, sounds familiar, but not as well-written?). It sounds like he wasn't expecting this and I wasn't either. Even though we seldom saw him, I always just liked that he was there, in the background, hoping he'd be able to come out and play. I'll miss him.

If I were Alexa I would take into consideration that the last character they brought back from 'the dead' they killed off in less than a year.

It sounds like he wasn't expecting this and I wasn't either. Even though we seldom saw him, I always just liked that he was there, in the background, hoping he'd be able to come out and play. I'll miss him. You'd think tptb would have learned their lesson, a few years ago they were going to kill off Edward in the hotel fire. They were suprised by the fan backlash and went to John Ingle and said , fine we wont kill you off but you're being taken off contract and have to go to recurring. He said no thank you and walked (went to Days where he was put on contract and even had several love scenes ) And they hired Jed Allen to replace him. I thought he did a decent enough job but the fans couldn't accept the change and eventually they had to beg John to return. And if that lesson didn't teach them anything, what about all the bad press they got for taking Anna Lee off contract? Huge press outrage over that, she died shortly after and they got a lot of bad press, saying how the stress and disappointment had affected her health. How can these people NOT learn from their mistakes?

Babe won't die. She's like The Blob. Trixie, why do you have to go and bring Angelina's baby into this?

Thanks! I just think it's unfair to insult a baby by comparing her to Babe! ha ha ha
