Soaper, I agree. Leven is 15, so it's really hard for me to know that she may play a married woman to an actor that is 29. I think a sweet friendship is fine, but I don't like that Jonathan has said that he loves Lily and wants to marry her.

I LOVE their friendship...and i think that they have tremendous potential but NOT SEXUALLY in anyway. I gagged when Lily asked, "Can you teach me to like sex."
I'm not opposed to sex but not an underage (although they SORASED her overnight) autistic girl...NOOOOOOO!!!!

I had so many problems with that conversation, mostly the "teach me to enjoy sex" comment. That's just over the line. Not only is she an underaged teen (uhh, that would be rape), but she is Autistic.
leven and jeff are both professionals, and are friends, but i still bet they are a tad uncomfortable with this. I'm 19, and if i had to play romantically opposite a 33 year old woman, i would be very uncomfortable!
I think that the fact that they didn't show them kiss is telling. That is because they DIDN'T kiss. They obviously don't want LR and JB to kiss, so i don't seem them going through with this SL. It's just absurd.

I agree about the kiss. They didn't show it, and the part they did show looked more like the actors were cheek-to-cheek, so I'm sure they have a reason for this s/l other than the great love story of Jon and Lilly.
Maybe this is just a means to redeem Jonathan. If Lilly gets herself harmed and Jonathan saves her, Jack would be greatful. Plus, Jonathan was the one to suggest that Erica was drugged. So that's two times. Add that to all the crimes he'll be cleared of when JFAP comes clean and the town may throw Jonathan a party.

I hope the reason they didn't show the kiss was because of Leven's age, but it could have been because she had mono at the time of the shooting. I'm hoping it was her age, though.

I'm sure it was because of her age.

Well, don't you think that her having mono might have played a part?? I don't know what to think with these crazy writers.

TPTB ruined Sam and Lily when they had them kiss too early. They should have spent all summer leading up to it and then it should have been celebrated as a milestone in her developement. Instead AMC wrote it off like it was nothing but a creepy encounter that her father and brother had a hard time dealing with.
I hope that Lily telling Jonathan that she doesn't love him indicates that they may never get much closer than they are now.
I HOPE...

It seems like the Jonathan/Lilly "relationship" is less about them being in love scenes together and more about each one of them wanting their independance. Maybe that's the connection here, and that's where TPTB are taking it?

I'm just being pessimistic, but i think the Jily split was because they wanted to get rid of Sam, so i don't think the early kiss is a big signal, but more as just a mistake on the writers part.
As for the Jeff/Leven kiss, it might have been because she was sick, but i really doubt it. I think even TPTB know it's not right to have a 29 year old kiss a 15 year old.
