plat - lovely babies!!!!!!!! the hairy one not aden!!!!!! what sweetis!!!! mike - that is soo sweet. i had never had a pet in my life. never wanted one. at least 3 times a week from the age of 3 my daughter, kallie, begged for a kitty. i was like no way. ick. well, she wore me down. for her 6th birday i got us a kitty. 3 years does wear a person down!!!! we got him a week before her birthday (when he was ready to leave his mom) and i woke her up with him. she was soo excited. it took me no time at all to fall in love with him. he was black and white and we named him chase. chase wasn't your everday cat!! he was an indoor cat but would go outside with us. if i called him and touched my should he would hop up and i could go outside and he'd stay on my shoulder. he loved car rides!!!! he would spread out on the dash of sit on my lap with his little paws on the wheel. when i took a shower he would jump in!!! silly baby loved the water!!!!!! when he turned a year he started getting sick. he was in the vets a lot. we tried everything . finally they gave him a pill that was supposed to solve the whole problem but was used as a last resort. i was just happy chase was going to be ok. when he was 14 months old i took him in again because he didn't seem right. they said the pills didn't work for him and he needed to be put to sleep to spare him of all his pain. 14 months. they asked me if i wanted to be there. i didn't want to be there but i didn't want chase to be among strangers when he passed. he never stopped looking at me and they gave him the shot. but i could tell when he was gone. i never realized how much an animal could touch your heart. i'm tearing up now!! i loved him sooo much. he was wonderful!!!!!! it took awhile to actually want a different cat. never having had a pet i was suprised how much they affect you and find a spot in your heart. i'm sure you saw the pics on the previous page of my 2 maine-coons. it's touching to have merlin (he came with the name ha ha) he was born on 9/11 - between the time the first plane hit and the second one. we were looking for a baby maine-coon and the lady wanted to give him a new home. since she starting breeding maine-coons he was kind of pushed in the background. we got him in january. he couldn't be loved more!!! merlin is a good name for him because he is wise. in feb. our baby maine-coon, kc, joined us.(kc for kallie and charity) i love our babies sooo much but i'll never forget our chase. your tribute to yours is soo lovely!!!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Claudine and I'm an AMC addict.
I started watching back in '89 (probably when some of you were born)! My grandmother and baby sister (who was 9) hooked me into watching LOVING and then I stayed tuned to see what the big fuss over Lucci was. LOL I really liked Jack & Erica, and of course Tad & Dixie and Nico & Cecily.
These days I love Jonathan (Jeff has been a fave since he showed up on screen). He's amazingly talented and I'm not someone who thinks all of our actors are great. I am loving Amanda lately (wasn't crazy about her when she hit town), love Simone... I am a Rendall fan, and don't really see what the big deal about Zach is, although I do find TK funny in person. I'm still waaaaay into Tad & Dixie. I miss seeing James Scott on AMC but I'm happy for him on DAYS and catch it every blue moon. I am a JR fan and do love JABE even though I'd like to put Babe through a wall right now. I'm also an Adam fan and still love Jack & Erica but this storyline SUCKS.
I post on MD, SOC, SON, sometimes PVB (my screenname is either Claudine or GaerielSky, which is my aol email addy). And also on my own website's board.
Can't wait for SSW!

Claudine, I recognize you as GaerielSky - good to know you are one and the same! I love your posts!!
We have similar favorites. And I was exactly the opposite - I started watching AMC in '89 and Tad and Dixie hooked me right in and THEN I started watching Loving (since it was on right before AMC). Those were my two soaps and to this day they are the only two soaps I've ever watched. (Although my mom is a huge GH fan and tries to get me to switch all the time. Says it's much better, and no Zack. She's a smart lady).

Hey everyone! I'm Christina (Jeff's Fan Club President) and I was very lucky to meet Liz & Beth last weekend in St. Louis! (Hi girls!) They were very sweet and invited me to visit the board and say hi to you all. I don't have much time to visit a lot of message boards but I will make a point to come by and say hi as often as I can. From what I hear you guys are a fun bunch and from what I have read through already I can see it!! Besides running Jeff's fan club I also run Chrishell's fan club and Terri Ivens' fan club. If you aren't already a member of any of their fan clubs, email or PM me and I can explain how to join. Jeff's - JeffBransonFC@aol.com Chrishell's - ChrishellFanClub@aol.com Terri's - TerriIvensFC@aol.com You are all so amazing showing your support for Jeff the way that you all do. We always talk about how awesome his fans are. Jeff really appreciates it more than any of you guys could ever know. Be well & I'll see you guys around, ~Christina

Let me tell you guys something about Christina. As a fan club president for just ONE person, she does an OUTSTANDING JOB!!! I never knew she was a fan club president to 3 of the AMC (one former, obviously) stars. Now I'm even 100x more impressed. Terri, Chrishell and Jeff are SO lucky to have her, and so are we!! Christina, I'm SO glad you stopped by and said hi!!

Hi Christina! You do a fantastic job with Jeff's fan club and keeping fans up-to-date on what he's doing and how to support him. I'm very happy you're here! And since you know Jeff so well I'm, uh, gonna go edit some posts.

I think if Christina met Liz and Beth and still came to the board then it must take a lot to scare her. ;D
