Ah, Charity - We are quite the sophisticated ones, aren't we? I love Dave. I even met him once, but alas, like Jonathon and Dr. Hayward, he doesn't answer my phone calls.

Dave Barry! I miss his columns in the Herald. Now he only writes about hurricanes and sports once every blue moon. His books are hilarious. I'll be 15 on december 2. Guess I'm not too old yet

I live in a suburb of Miami, but no one knows where it is so I just say I live in Miami. It's called Hialeah. It's a very hispanic community. Some parts are kinda rough, unfortunately. The "old cuban" thing meant the way I express myself (in spanish. I tone myself down in english). I was confused when someone first told me that. I don't have an accent! Apparently they meant my vocabulary.

Spanish is my first language so I can't really tell you if it's hard or easy to learn, but once you get the hang of it it opens a dozen new doors. Italian and Portugese and Spanish are great to learn. If you master one, the other 2 are a breeze to learn. It even makes French easier to grasp since a lot of words are similar in those languages.

we just got this awesome spanish software - we've already learned alot in just a few days. they make it sooo easy. the talk in spanish all through it so we can repeat but they also help you get the exact pronouncation correct so it's easier to communicate. it's awesome!!!!! we have a lot of spanish speaking people around here and i'd like to be able to talk to them. i hate having a whole group of people around me and i am unable to talk to them!!!!!!
