Im doing a Masters degree in Communication and Culture studies. I'm working on my final Major Research Paper (I got to skip the thesis, thank god) right now and its based on film studies so...I get to watch movies as part of it. But right now, I'm actually also doing a little research for my job tomorrow...I have to interview a prof on his current research for a press release. Joy.
But I did an undergrad in film and history already as well.

awesome!!! i'm thinking of switching majors to Electronic Media Communication, and concentrate in Television Production. I already have a minor in Psychology completed (my major currently) and i would also be minoring in Film Studies if i switch. But i'm obsessed with Movies, TV, Music, Theater, basically all things entertainment, lol, so i thought "why not major in it!". I'll have to give you a shout if i need some advice!

Sure! Not sure if I can really help you thought...LOL. I would say avoid Comm studies...its not what most people think it is. LOL.
I know Im starting to want to go back to history....but I figured I can do that on my own if I really want to. You just go to a book store and read. LOL. But it comes in super handy during Jeopardy.

Damned if I know. I find I do things the opposite way....instead of finding the career for me, I end up trying everything and doing a process of elimination....I seem to hate everything. LMAO.
Most people I know think I should be a lawyer but I really can't handle 4+ more years of school....so I'll end up someone's executive assistant, probably. LMAO.

lol! i'm the same way. I don't really like to do anything! i mean, i like to do things...but i don't love anything so much to do it as a career. i was actually watching Amanda on AMC today and thought "it'd be fun to be some celebrity's assistant!" (unless Josh is your boss, lol)

It's really not, trust me. I've worked in publicity, it sounds a lot better than it really is. You work crazy hours, get no respect and little pay. The entertainment industry really sucks actually. The only thing going for it is that it has a glamorous reputation.
But I'm not super worried about it...I always find something. LOL. I've only gone one summer ever without a job, and that was by choice. Heck my best friend still hasn't finished his undergrad and he's my age...he's in even less a rush than me. He also has no clue what he wants to do. I have another friend who went to law school just out of a lack of anything better to do.
Most people don't know, its not unusual. Though its driving my parents nuts.

Minkie, I understand about not being able to do another 4+ years. I start my last semester next week and I'm ready for college to just be over already. I couldn't imagine going another 4 yrs either.

Yeah...I mean I've done six years of university straight, didn't take a break. Went it right after high school too. I definitly need a break after this. I'm supposed to be done this spring. I'll have my nice MA next to my name and be done with it. No way in hell I'm doing a PHD.
I'm going to travel and then see what happens.
