ok - kallie and i order a pizza with garlic bread. the place is in a different small town but they deliver here. i always tip good cause i feel bad for the driver!!!! this place has awesome awesome pizza. the main delivery guy knows us well. he watched my dump go from being a dump to a nice place (sweat and hard work!!!!) the deliver it to us - i pop it in the oven for a few (it's about 15 min away) the pizza had NO SAUCE at all. we lifted all the cheese. couldn't believe it. i called them and i'm kinda known for people skills when i want from my former working life. they said they would give me $1 dollar off of my next order. they also told me they are sure it doesn't taste soo bad that i can't eat it!!!!! uhhh - cheese and cardboard??? i told them i want a new pizza. they said it's not going to happen unless i wanted to buy one.
hello? customer service anyone??? i am sssooooo pissed (and hungry) but i can't believe their lack of any customer service. they actually hung up on me. they asked if i was going to buy a new one and i said no - i want the pizza i ordered. they said we can't help you. click. ahh yes, the click of the phone. and that was the manager (so they say)
am i wrong?? any other fun customer service idiot stories?

They should have offered you a new pizza. Customer service is dead.

That is infuriating!!! Can you find out if it really was the manager you spoke with? If it was I'd find out who he has to answer to and have a chat with that person.

That is SOOOOOO NOT acceptable. You need to get a hold of the manager RIGHT NOW! AND you need to call back and say LOUDLY that you will never order another pizza from there again. And mean it. And also that all your very good friends from SC won't either. What a bummer, to say the least And I was so wanting a pizza to share vicariously with you and Kallie. Good luck

That is not acceptable, call them now and demand your money. If they keep saying no, just keep climbing the ladder....ask for the manager, then his boss, and so on until you get someone who will give you the money back. They all do eventually if you bitch loud enough. LOL.

That's right, Charity! We have clout! Although the pizza place may not know what "clout" means. They may even try to charge you "extra". Get your money back, dang nab it! Oh no, I'm starting to sound like I should be in the Real McCoys!

At the very least, they should've offered you guys a new pizza free of charge. That is just unacceptable. I wouldn't order from that place again.

Oooh! This is SO a moment for the angry wee blue man Charity That is outrageous! Last time I checked cheese on bread was not known as pizza . Toasted cheese yes . Here in Brisbane , I ordered 2 gluten free pizzas but when they arrived they were not . I phoned , the manageress was profusely apologetic , told me not to touch them but if anyone else could eat them to let them do so ( cue very happy non coeliac hubby!) 20 mins later my gluten free ones arrived with no charge . As a result , I will order from them every time . The states is famous for its customer care Charity . You should bitch until they refund or replace . Failing that , go in on their busiest night & re order , loudly reminding them of their shocking stupidity the last time .

Not sure if I'm too late here, but that is ridiculous of that pizza place and I would definitely take everyones advice and start talking to the managers' manager because this behavior is the quickest way to loose customers and go out of business. They need to give you your money back or give you a new pizza.
I have written the corporate office of a pizza place before over this very thing actually. I called to complain, they hung up on me, etc. As a result, I will never order from Papa Johns anymore.
I only posted the name of the company because in my letter I told them that I would spread the word about their lack of customer service skills and I need to hold up to my word. ;D

mention that usually you love their pizzas and you are a loyal customer and this is the first problem and how suprising it was that there was a problem and how disappointed you were in the way they chose to deal with it
