Yes but the fact that this sticks in her memory shows that your pick up rate was excellent!

`fraid not Charity . Carl is in 5th Grade now . Get`s door to door pick up ( no school buses in brisbane ) and still shoots me a reproachful look when I tell him I`ll see him at the Oval ( playing field) after school!

Too true ! Why can`t they bring up the ( admittedly one solitary) time I decorated and iced a Gingerbread House thing with them AND made a Xmas wreath with glitter hands ? I made sure I captured that on film and sent it to my inlaws . one can`t trumpet enough about something like that imo!

in 4th grade kallie had whooping cough. and she had a huge leaf assignment due. i never knew there were that many different type of maple trees i spent hours driving around trying to collect 25 different type of leaves. comparing them with leaves in a book. they all looked alike to me. but was that appreciated??? only our mistakes!!!

Aww Charity that was above & beyond ! I remember Carl ' suddenly remembered ' about a " little reseach task " at 7am ! Lucky me was researching the " mating habits and reproductive cycles of some of the frog species " ( kid you not) . `Course the teacher never referred to it again . I hate when they give that type of homework . I was a teacher but that is just lazy in my book ! The internet has a lot to answer for ! Insta homework tasks that invariably get landed on the parents!

oh jeez!!!!! this leaf project was the worst. they had to be dried but trying to find all these leaves??? kallie was quarenteened (spelled terribly wrong) with whooping cough and her "evil" teacher wasn't giving her a break.
