Do you try to steer clear of fried foods or embrace them?

If I'm eating a hamburger I insist on fries or onion rings or tots. But other than that, I rarely eat fried foods.

I stay away from fried...**puts down crispy creme** as much as possible. ;D Have any of you tried tots out of the oven instead of fried? They're pretty good!

Kim, I actually have never had a fried tater tot. I always cook them in the oven.
Chris, Andrew and I want a Sonic around us. We always laugh because the commercials are ALWAYS on, yet we've never, ever seen one. ;D ;D

LIZ!!! You've never even seen a Sonic? Oh, girl, you are missing some of the best "chain" burgers, fries, onion rings, & tots (the tots can be ordered plain, with cheese or with chili & cheese . And they have great ice. People here are fiends for Sonic drinks. They come in evil styrofoam cups andthey have very chewable, easy on the teeth ice. Breaking the Ice Chewable-ice machines are in greater demand as consumers and operators alike turn on to the pellet-sized shape. By Erin J. Shea, Associate Editor Beverages are so important as competitive points of difference among operations that every aspect of a bar or takeout drink—from garnishes to glassware—gets close scrutiny. Ice receives no less thought.
“The ice we use in drinks is one of our hallmarks,” says Todd Townsend, chief marketing officer for Oklahoma City-based Sonic, of the dense, chewable nuggets used in fountain drinks. “Some of our stores started to sell the ice by itself. It is that popular with customers.”

Sonics ROCK. And yes Amy - their ice is the best! I know several people who swing by just to get ice from Sonic. I love their food, it's a vice.
Liz, your tator tots were probably fried first and you het them in the oven. Am I guessing right?
