I think I have a new favorite!!! Seriously Tex, that was awesome. And perfect song for it too. Although, if the song was just a little longer, you could have added the Greenlee/Kendall fight in wedding dresses. ;D
This was a good day for me to watch this too. I just got home from being in traffic, which in 95 degree heat is NO FUN.

95 degree heat?? i could go to the beach!!!! k - can't complain - we've been in the 70's the last couple days with the sun a shinning. but i know the heat will come plus all the humidity - yes, even in wisconsin we have harsh summers. but we have beautiful springs and fallls and harsh harsh winters. i still want beach weather!!!!

And Kallie, there is no beach by me. Tex has one close, but I have to drive far, far, far. I just get the humidity.. and there's nothing like Texas humidity! think about taking three showers a day! Seriously, you shower, get ready and walk out of the house and immediately feel like you need anther shower. I'm convinced my son (who will be born during a Texas June) will look at me like I'm crazy and tell me to put him back in! ;D

I refuse to believe it's because now that i've got my pre pregancy waistline back, i refuse to give it up! ;D though i may try this summer, again..gotta get the perfect timing! LOL tell ya tex - i don't know how old your baby is but if your thinkin about it don't make them too far apart. i didn't expect kallie - she was a suprise blessing - one that i NEVER regreted. i was only 22 and still in school. her dad and i broke up after 5 years when i was 8 months pregnant - haha can you imagine a pissed off 8 month pregnant chic screaming at this in the middle of a hospital parking lot!!!! ;D ;D pretty funny. so any way, i've always been a single mom but i never thought i'd only have one child. almost got married a few years ago but wised up and cancelled the wedding (it was hard to do because the wedding was in jamiaca ) now kallie is 11 and even tho i'm only 33 i couldn't imagine having a new baby. babies are wonderful - tiny miracles. but i think that kallie is 11 - what a built in babysitter? diapers seem like forever ago (tho sometimes it does seem like yesterday!!!! they grow fast) and you start to wonder if you should do it all over again. it's soooo rewarding but as they get older is gets harder and harder. i was naive. i thought it would get easier. ;D ;D ;D WAS I WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the older - the harder. i watched a show with a pregnant 12 year old. HELLO - kallie just turned 11. i live in a nice little small town but it's all out there everywhere - sex and drugs. when they get much older having another one gets harder to do. single children tend to cling and the older they get the more jealous they get. kallie would FREAK OUT if i had a baby. so have babies - you'll get your waist back!!!!!!!! enjoy the hell out of their cute little noises and how much they depend on you. try not to teach them to talk ;D . see-just trying to give you a reason to get going or you'll end up with a single child who claims you as HER own!!!!!!!!!!

Charity, how does it get harder as they get older? You've crushed my dream of things getting easier for me as the kids get older! sorry sweeti - the young years are the easy ones. it was a harsh reality!!!! then the mouth hits. then the toys they want aren't 10-20 dollars any more. it's real fun when they hit about 9 and are convinced you are stupid. i hear that ends in the mid 20's. there clothes are bigger and way more expensive. even if they don't play soccar you become a soccer mom - taking them here and there and everywhere. and the whinning that annoys you now? ha ha ha - wait- they continue to whine and try to manipulate you. no matter how good they are or how well you raised them the learn how to lie. it's funny because it's so transparent but they stick to their story like glue. if you get angry they yell "i hate you" and then slam their bedroom door. ahhhh-relief. at least they are in their room and you have a moments of peace. you can make chore charts etc but they will ignore everything. i forgot. do you know how many times i hear that? and she's a straight "A" student. i forgot my . and trust me, this will happen: "oh mom, i forgot. we're having a party at school and i said you'd bring in your choc chips cookies" me"ok kallie - what day is the party" kallie"tomorrow morning" me "it's 10:00 at night - you better be joking!" and guess what - she wasn't. swear to god - it happened. don't plan on having a life of your own. might as well put strings on your arms and legs and get ready to be a puppet!!!! and don't be fooled. kallie is known as one of the best most well behaved kid at school. by the end of first grade they know every name in the book. by third they could teach you a few. by fifth (even in our small town ) there is drug issues with some classmates - kallie's classmates were huffing (not kallie!!!!!!!) but you must pound it in there head early. NEVER EVER make plans for yourself. oh yeah - something will happen. happens everytime. it's like they know when to get a high fever or thow up. what? the theatre? oh sorry - kallie just threw up on my dress (and not the cute baby spit up) so be ready for being their slave, being stupid because they know everything, eye rolling, whatever - yes the "whatever" - i tell her she will never be able to roll her eyes and say whatever as well as I could. and finally they tell you they want to live at home and go to a close college. then you can still cook, clean, pay the cable, heat, internet service etc. and still you will be stupid. and guess what? You still love them more than anything in the whole wide world and you wouldn't trade them for anything. btw - best thing kallie said was when she was 3 or 4. we're paycheck to paycheck and she wanted something. i said we'll put it on her birthday list because i don't have the money right now. she said we need to go to the bank - they give you money!!
