Don't get me wrong - - I am thrilled that they are giving more scenes to David. But this unrealistic behavior around Dixie is odd. Sure, he and Dixie had a fling and at the time he was certain he was falling in love with her, but they broke it off and she made it clear she was choosing Tad over him.
Also, David went on to have a mature relationship with Anna, who I thought was a much better fit for him anyway. Now, he's running around acting like Anna never happened and that he's been pining away for Dixie for years.
I know TPTB are just trying to create drama, but it's getting annoying and making David looked like a whipped puppy.

I don't like this "obsessed" David. And besides, the whole David and Dixie thing is not something I would like to revisit -- there was no chemistry there at all!
I always considered Anna his big love... apparently tptb forgot about that.

It's just gross. I was cringing when he was trying to convince Tad that Dixie was a hallucination. A HALLUCINATION, DAVID?!?
It's just painful to watch him like this. And he always, ALWAYS makes the same mistakes. He runs right to her family to hurt them and then acts angry that she's not running into his arms.

Minkie, ICAM. I second your whole post. I get to watch the hallucination stuff today.

It just makes me sad because in general, I enjoy when David is involed in a story. But not when they write him like this.
