Okay, yesterday she talked about how she had come back to PV after her accident to see if JR was alright, but he had gone on his "adventure". Then he asked her about why she didn't come back to him after he came home.
My question is this: How did she know JR had gone on an adventure, and how would she have known when he got home, unless she had been in contact with someone. So who could it be? Unless she had some private detective following JR around, I don't see how she could have known this.

The adventure being when he went to San Fransisco? Met Babe?

heck, I didn't even know about his "adventure"! It wasn't really an adventure, she was referring to when he ran away from home and joined the merchant marines. That's when he met Babe as well. How any mother could equate running away from home to a Big Adventure, I have no idea. JR ran off initially because he couldn't deal with life in PV anymore, Adam was driving him nuts. It wasn't a happy thing.

I guess she figured since he was over 18 when he left, it was no longer a kid running away from home but a young man going to find himself.
But even so, he left to get away from what his life became after his mother left. Not exactly an "adventure."

Well...at the time I think he was 17, so technically still a minor. Not sure if that still applies since they aged JR again.
But still....he was clearly unhappy and that's why he left. I don't see how she saw any good in that.
