I watched most of Fridays episode. Now granted I've missed about a month of episodes, this one was ridiculous! First of all, Janet leaves a newborn (seriously, DAYS old) baby with Amanda, who is completely passed out. Luckily for the baby, Amanda wakes up before the door is even closed, but Janet didn't know that would happen. I know shes supposed to be crazy and all, but what the hell?
Then there's Sean and Ava. Why go through the trouble of casting teens in order to bring in a young group of fans when all you're going to do is show them skipping school to have sex in the shower. Is this AMC's idea of quality TV for impressionable youth? And it was weird sex too - doesn't he feel like he's having sex with Lily? What the hell?
Albeit I love Tad and Adam scenes and that was primarily the reason I watched Friday's show... and they didn't disappoint either, I loved their banter back and forth, but I don't think Tad thought that all the way through. When the phone rang, he didn't even reach for the phone right away... he let Adam slowly root around for it and answer it. Why handcuff yourself to someone for a phone call and then act casual about it? It seemed more like he was only handcuffed to Adam for whatever other jollies he had. Plus... who there really thinks Adam can make himself turn pale and fake a real heart attack? I thought they were supposed to be the good guys? If that's the case - why would they ignore possible death? Seems to me no one in that room deserved to be a good parenting prospect for the baby, what the hell?
And Erica? Suddenly Lily tells her she misses her around the house and Erica decides they should be the epitamy of what a divorced couple should be? What was up with her actually suggesting vacationing together? And double dating? Who does that?? Not me! Are we finally going to get some better writing? What the hell?
Finally - so let me get this straight. There's Krystal, whom we are led to believe is some sort of firecracker who was raised in a rough area and could take on the world.... and Tad, whom we are also led to believe that he's a tiger, a cool detective, man's man... and the two of them will sit through an interview with Janet? Who is not in shape and hasn't exactly been lifting weights in the asylum? They can't take her? The two of them What the hell?
