They posted up that a promo aired and it reveals that yep, Ryan is her father. I mean I don't mind Ryan as a dad at all but...tied to Annie? Ugh. They better not change Spike's paternity for this..

I don't mind at all if Ryan is Emma's father, but if Spike's paternity is changed as a result....

I'm so tired of this whose the daddy bs. it's getting old. Plus I don't like that this means Annie will be around for a while. She's so boring!

Awww, but Jon finally gets to be an uncle. Lord knows he's never seen Spike. I'm just trying to find a silver lining here

I remember the little girl and she's a doll, so I don't mind. Annie bored me when I watched, so I don't get why they are even keeping her around...oh wait, because they want to continue with the bad ratings....
Anyway, if she's a Lavery fine.If it pisses kendall off so be it. Ryan's a good dad but they shouldn't take Spike from him. If they do they already had that oppurtunity and should have taken it if they were going that route. I just hope the Zidiot fanbase that gives AMC NO ratings doesn't determine that one like they have the rest of the show....
Really, since I'm not watching it's kinda' hard to care....but I do love Ryan/Cam...

I agree. This WTD was worn out 20-years ago. Now we have, who's the sperm, who's the eggs and who cares? Now Spike's father will be revealed to be (drum roll and eye roll), Zach. Why Zach donated at the clinic is too oogy for me to imagine. But the whole donating at a sperm bank leaves me with a lot of bad visuals. Most of them involving a cup and a magazine. I don't even WANT to think of the sound effects. Okay, that's it. I'd like to hear about someone having a baby without clinical details. Just once. Perhaps the stork could bring it. I'm even up for finding them in a "cabbage patch". Anything but, "So you're the sperm who impregnated my eggs!" Let's do lunch.

Oh, but Trixie, in McT world it doesn't mean "Let's do lunch", it means "Let's make a chemistry-less couple have sex so we can convince the audience they belong together." LOL!

I wouldnt put it past AMC to ignore that they did a paternity test for Spike and Ryan WAS the father.
Maybe the serial killer will take out Annie and Ryan will have to raise Emma all on his own, that could make some good SLs

I wouldn't put it past them either, Elana.
Part of me wonders if maybe David is jacking around with everyone and is throwing everyone's life in disarray.......Whatever. This show is aweful and I'm going to continue to tune out....

ya know a lot of us knew it but damn - it's true. i hate having him connected to annie. i do love how he is connected to emma. annie and ryan's conversation last week about his sperm donation kind sealed the deal.

The one thing I like about this is that it gives me hope that the writers are seriously investing in Ryan and the Lavery family. (Besides that whole kill off the sister thing). I say that because they are all about creating legacies in families... the bigger the family, the more important the ties are later. We have right now, the Martins, Chandlers and Kanes. Some Montgomery’s. They tried to do this with the Santos's but that died out. Maybe 15 years from now, one of the main families in town will be the Lavery's, mostly in part by all the illegitimate babies that pop up conveniently from Ryan’s donations. ;D

Well, Ryan is exactly the kind of man who should share his sperm with the women in America. In fact, I think men who are drop dead gorgeous and funny and cool should feel obligated to donate to sperm banks. It's their patriotic duty. Help beautify America.
