It's gotten to the point that wishing an actor the best at AMC is synonyms with wishing that they get out of their contract.

Well, it makes me feel a little better that she wanted out of her contract. I wish her the best.
BTW, is this "Husband" going to be Colin??? I thought they were dating!

I can't blame her for wanting out of that contract. On paper at the beginning, I bet that looked like a great role. Maybe even a lifer. Juicy background, ties to a prominent family, etc. Then they did sqat with it.
I hope she finds success somewhere soon. All the best Connie!

I wish her all the best too. It does make me feel a little better that she wanted out, but still it sucks.

It makes me feel better too that she wanted out. Although I wish that they would have had the character just leave town instead of killing Erin off. I don't want the pain it's going to cause my boys and I want there to be the chance for the character (hopefully played by Connie) to return. Of course that's assuming the show isn't cancelled.

I wish Connie all the best in her career as well as her upcoming marriage, but I still will miss Erin! I agree Amy, if they had to get rid of her, why couldn't she just leave town? This is going to be so devastating for Jonathan and Ryan, especially Jonathan. I am going to hate to see the pain they will go through! AMC seems to delight in crappy story lines at Christmas. Almost every year something depressing happens. Look at last year when Jonathan tried to have a happy Christmas. One that stands out from years ago is when Stuart first fell for Cindy. He sent her a gift, and she thought it was from her ex. She threw it in the trash, and Stuart saw her. Stuart was dressed as Santa, and was sitting alone in the park on a swing. I thought that was such a sad scene.

I so agree with you Amy! Would it have hurt to wait until after Christmas? With the memory of their sister's murder at Christmas, I guess it is safe to assume that our Lavery boys will never have a happy Christmas? My mom passed away on the 16th of December in 1991, and it still gets to me every Christmas. I hate these jackass writers!
