TEMPTATION WEEK! LUCKY FINDS SAM IN A COMPROMISING POSITION! AND, ROBIN AND PATRICK BREAK-UP!
Even as Lucky and Elizabeth try to make their marriage work, they can't stop thinking about Jason and Sam. Since her night with Jason, Elizabeth has managed to avoid making love to her husband. Lucky tries to arrange a romantic night with her -- but gets rejected. Frustrated, Lucky tells Nikolas about his non-existent sex life, and starts to fantasize about Sam. Then, (how convenient) he just happens to walk in on her taking a dip in a hot tub! Will Lucky give into temptation and fall into Sam's revenge trap? And, Robin finds Patrick hanging out with Leyla in their apartment and the couple calls it quits!
Lynda Hirsch Scoops:
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny sends Carly and the boys to the island for safety. Jerry suggests that Sam seduce Trevor to get information on Zacchara and use it to get revenge on Jason. Lucky arrives at Sam's penthouse to find her soaking in the Jacuzzi in a bikini. Alexis moves into Wyndemere with Molly and Kristina. Maxie tries to win back Coop, but he can clearly see she's still obsessed with Logan. Sam calls Jason, lying that she needs his help to get him to come to the penthouse. Once Jason arrives, Sam merely shows him the Jacuzzi where she plans on seducing Lucky. Jason lets Sam know he isn't affected by her attempts at manipulation. Tracy beats Edward at his own game and is released. Lucky is frustrated over Elizabeth's reluctance to be intimate with him. Robin walks out on Patrick, ending their relationship. Jason offers Robin solace. Logan and Scott have their blood drawn for the DNA test. Kate has had enough of being in the middle of Trevor and Sonny's war and breaks things off with Sonny. A furious Sonny demands that Jason kill Trevor.
SNEAK PEEK: Jason and Sonny fight.
Casting scoops from SOD:
GENERAL HOSPITAL bad girl Amelia's days are numbered — literally. Actress Annie Wersching, who joined the show in March, has been cast as a series regular on 24 and begins filming as Agent Renee Walker on Sept. 7. Wersching took a break from GH earlier this year to film the pilot COMPANY MAN and was briefly replaced by actress Darby Stanchfield. No word yet on whether or not Stanchfield will replace her now that she's keeping company with Jack Bauer.
After weeks of hearing the dreaded name Anthony Zacchara, GH's maniacal mob boss finally has a face — and it belongs to veteran character actor Bruce Weitz. Best known for his Emmy-winning role of Sgt. Mick Belker on HILL STREET BLUES, Weitz has also appeared on SISTERS (ex-Pug), ER (ex- Alderman Bright) and JUDGING AMY (ex-Martin). His first air date is October 12. The role is recurring.
According to Guza in the latest issue of SIDS both Finola and Rick will be back this fall as they both have extended availability! Guza also hints that Tristan will be back as well!
He also says that Noah will have an issue or two dealing with his mundabe life after the rock star rush and oh yeah that previous poster who posted that fans were disappointed with the Anna/Noah story left out a key part of that news... Fans were disappointed "with its abrupt ending as viewers were overjoyed to see Finola and Rick spotlighted in a SL of their own".

Soaps' Hottest Rumors!
A line about Kelly and tense negotiations and leaving, obviously they worked that out.
Now comes word that Tyler Christopher and Natalia Livingston could be close behind. Not so, insists Head Writer Robert Guza, Jr. "There were rumors out there, but both of these actors are locked down," he clarifies. "There's no covering up here. They're around and what happens to Nikolas in the coming weeks is going to be a catalyst for [November] sweeps. I would never invest in this story if I didn't have both Natty and Tyler here indefinitely to do it."
Comings and Goings
Who's Coming
Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara): The son of the powerful, as-of-yet-unseen mob boss Anthony Zacchara arrives in PC on September 20 and immediately has a life-changing run-in with Lulu. The role is recurring.
Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla Mir): The GH:NS student nurse joins GH as a contract player at the conclusion of the Soapnet spin-off. "At the end of NS, a lot of what accumulated there is going to trickle off to GH," says Guza. "But whether you've been watching either show or both, you'll be able to pick up the action just fine."
Sneak Preview
Lucky and Elizabeth's attempt at reconciliation gets even bumpier when the pair has a major blowout on Monday, September 17. "How many times can you bang your head against the same wall without getting a concussion?" wonders Greg Vaughan. The growing threat against Corinthos and co. prompts Sonny to vow that he will stand by Kate, no matter what on Tuesday, September 18.
Cover Story: Murder By Numbers Part One.
It was just another day in the upstate New York hamlet of Port Charles - until Jason and Carly stumbled onto the body of a strangled Leticia. The Corinthoses' beloved nanny is pronounced dead on arrival at G.H.
"There is a murder," confirms Head Writer Robert Guza, Jr. in his best Alfred Hitchcock impersonation. "Because it is Leticia, Michael and Morgan's nanny, it is hugely traumatic for both the boys and their parents. Sonny and company believe that reputed mob boss, the as-yet-unseen Anthony Zacchara, is behind it. One of Zacchara's MOs is not to eliminate his rival, but eliminate his rival's loved ones, to bring his rival to his knees in grief and pain and then move in on his territory."
Sonny immediately sends Carly and the boys off to his private island for their safety, which leads to sparring with Jax over who can better protect them. "What instantly happens off of this is Carly and Sonny are slammed back together," Guza continues. "Sonny insists to Carly, 'You've got to live with me. The kids have to be with me. I've got to protect you.' Carly is saying, 'I can't do that.' Jax is saying, 'I can protect my own wife.' If Anthony Zacchara is responsible for the murder, then has accomplished exactly what he had set out to do - which would be to profoundly shake up Sonny and Jason and their families and loved ones."
News of the murder sends fear through the streets of Port Charles, though Jerry ominously assures his brother that nothing will happen to his family. Alone in her house, Elizabeth retrieves a gun for protection. After Ric unexpectedly relinquishes temporary custody of Molly to Alexis, she takes her children and moves into Wyndemere with Nikolas. Then, Ric goes after his primary suspect, his father, Trevor, who is Zacchara's legal counsel.
Murder By Numbers Part Two
"Trevor Lansing is a powerful New York lawyer at the top of his game," explains his portrayer Stephen Macht. "Since he's got connections all over the place, he wields tremendous influence."
In addition to the rocky relationship with his son, Trevor has another foe in Sonny. They were already at odds due to conflict over the women they both loved - Sonny's mother, Adela, and now Kate - but there's more trouble brewing. "Sonny thinks that Trevor is coming there as an advance run for Darth Vader," Macht chuckles. "Sonny sees Trevor as a threat, but that all just washes off Trevor's back. Trevor tells him, 'You're toying with people who are much bigger and much stronger than you are, so for the sake of you and yours, back off. Now!'"
While Sonny is confident that his ex-wife and kids are safe, Kate gets caught in the crossfire. "Kate is in a tricky position because she cannot forget who Trevor was to her and what he did for her career, but she knows instinctively that she can trust sonny," says Megan Ward. "She doesn't know what the right thing to do is, but each step of the way, she gains another piece of the puzzle."
Kate gets tangled in the web when Sonny asks her to spy on Trevor. "She's sad that Sonny chose this life, but she accepts that part of who he is," notes Ward. "When he asks her to partake, it's frightening, but her instinct is to help him."
Trevor, however, loses patience and issues Kate an ultimatum: avoid Sonny or he'll ensure she loses Couture. "Kate never expected such a low blow from Trevor," sighs Ward. "She never thought she'd be used like that but in a way, it's good. Trevor shows his true colors. Kate's got to re-evaluate him and act accordingly."
If she gets that change. By week's end, Kate's a target herself when she is drugged and put behind the wheel of a car. "Leticia is not the last [death]," declares Guza. "This story will blow up much bigger in [November] sweeps. There are a couple of big guns at stake."
Mind Over Murder (Part Three)
This is a supplemental box to the main story.
Guza promises thrills and chills as this new tale unfolds, and offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what goes into the making of mystery.
"This will not be one of those things where we get rid of actors we don't want," stresses the scribe. "Because, first of all, there aren't any of those. What will be interesting for the viewers are the clues - how this all unfolds, and then trying to figure out who's doing it. Try to see what the murders have in common, how the murders are reported and how the murders are predicted. That is all going to be important. We want to have the audience play along. There will be a number of murders, high-profile and low. The only reason Christine [Carlo, Leticia] is first - and let me stress this, it has nothing to do with the actress or something going in another direction - this is for story reasons only. If you're going to strike against the heart of the Port Charles mob and its affiliates, this is the way to do it."
OK guys color me gone cuz I'm done. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
