Well, wait until you're 51. I just tell everyone that I'm "blushing" when I'm actually having a major hotflash. They just say "You must REALLY be embarrassed." I just nod and cry. Then I walk away in a big puddle of perspiration. Sometimes that comes in handy. But you're a sweetheart and I'm thinking of learning Scottish/ Gaelic because of you. It was between that or Mandarin. But since you and Sean Connery aren't Mandarin, I'm going with Gaelic. With a Valley Girl accent, of course.

;D .... Best of British with that one ! It is a beautiful language but completely incomprensible to me , being a Lowland girl . I did have a cousin though who was in a "famous" Gaelic folk / pop group " Nahoghanich " I think they were . Apparently a bit of a byword in the Gaelic pop world! i suspect it was a small niche market! My daughter & I both have the same middle name of "Skye"though after the island off the Highlands . The most beautiful scenery in the world so it is said . That must count for something . The Highlanders have always been a race apart . Did you know that when Bonnie Prince Charlie rallied the Highlanders , he was mostly fighting against the lowlanders of Scotland and a few raggedy English troops? We Scots are masters at the Civil War bit . Even now in Glasgow . our rival soccer teams hate each other with a passion .

Nahoghanich? Is that Gaelic for Naugahyde? My first apartment was covered in it! It was scary! Those poor little Naugas. I knew "Skye" was from a lovely Scottish place. And yes, Civil Wars go on and on and on. I'm still asked if I come from "The South". And I say, well, yes I do. I think Southern California counts. And here in Northern California it counts as being a traitor. I'm the Benedict Arnold of Sausalito. Especially because I still own and sometimes use a razor. And not for chopping, um, well, white, powdery substances.

Yep! Plus they were short. I saw some of those uniforms and well, let's just say I'm too big for them, and I'm well, rather vertically challanged. But then they have the edge on us "Yanks" with Blues, Jazz and most importantly, food. They may have been "conquered" but they seem to have a helluva good time. I was in New Orleans a few years ago, and felt like I stepped into a time warp. Then I felt like having a giant Beer at 8:00 in the morning because the street vendor was there and there was nothing better to do until breakfast. Which also consisted of beer. I love the south

This is totally 100% Alicia. I don't have a doubt in my mind. I really hope she leaves, because if she and Jeff both leave, i will literally have no reason anymore to tune into this sorry show. Alexa's gone. 1 down, 2 more to go, then i'm outta there.

And this might be mean but I'm tired of half of Raven's column being about herself. We get it, she's the great martyr for copying and pasting spoilers that YOU CAN FIND ELSEWHERE. Whatever. Well, then I'm mean too, Minkie, because I think the same thing. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised by her ego---she calls herself RavenBeauty. I think we should all put that tag onto the end of our board names. ChandyBeauty, LizBeauty, MinkieBeauty, TrixieBeauty, DonutQueenBeauty (or maybe DonutBeautyQueen), etc. Seriously! I think she's great at scoops, honestly I do. But every single week its "Oh I spend so much time doing this all for YOU (so worship me, dammit)" and "Oh I get attacked all the time by crazy people just to do this work for YOU (so worship me, dammit)" and "oh I have insider info because someone saw my column and thought I was great (so you should too, dammit)" Did you see her paragraph-long thank you for the birthday wishes? "Oh it's wonderful of you to wish me happy birthday since I do all this work for you every week without payment...." I think it's nice of her to put all the spoilers together for SOC like that but give me a break, it's not that hard. Even Dan doesn't ask for attention as much as Raven does every week.

Maybe she puts on weights while copying and pasting and that equals 'hard work' or something. Because I really don't get it. I mean people post all of there here all the time, how hard can it be? LOL
Although I don't think she should be attacked for her scoops, which the zendall people do all the time. I just get annoyed with the demands for attention...it's not subtle at all. It's not like if Raven stopped posting we couldn't find all this info elsewhere.

You guys are cracking me up. I do agree, though. Even I can copy and paste and I'm a technological idiot. Bow dow before Chandybeauty as I'm about to hit the 'post reply' button ;D

I've always thought that about Raven, too. I really appreciate what she does, because i always wait and go there to read all the spoilers at once. I also like the inside scoops that she gets sometimes, those are valuable. But yes, the worship me complex is very annoying.

Count me in on this! I appreciate having just one place to go (in the absence of time, I just can't visit several different web pages looking for spoilers like that) but to have to weed through the "Aren't you fortunate that I did this for you" to get to the spoilers hardly makes them worth it. Now I just come here!!
