Kendall, Zach and Erica will suffer greatly when their revenge schemes against Greenlee turn into an after-school lesson of the week, for November Sweeps. It doesn’t help that one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing.
Kate Collins (Janet) makes a reappearance November 26 when Amanda calls on her.
Ambyr Childers (Colby), 19, used her athletic ability on the softball field to win a bet with her father and gain entrance into the hallowed halls of acting. The then 13-year-old said she could make it onto the softball All Stars team, and if she did, he had to take her to L.A. for headshots to start her acting career. Sure enough, she made it onto the team, and her dad paid his bet. Her parents were kind of stunned that Childers then parlayed that bet into immediate acting jobs, commercials, a movie, and finally AMC. The July 12th-born native San Diegan had a hell of a time getting to the place to audition for the AMC role with her truck and an obstinate security guard, but once in, she won her way on-screen as Adam’s SORAS’d daughter. In the midst of this AMC score, Childers had to graduate high school, prepare for college, something about golfing, and do a lot of commuting. Once in New York City, the country-music-lovin’ Childers learned quickly to adjust to homesickness and her newfound adulthood in a new apartment all on her own, at just 17. “When you come from a family where your mom practically does everything for you to living on your own, it’s kind of scary!” she said. “But I’m very independent and it’s nice not to be told what to do, not to have a curfew – even though I go to bed at, like, 9:30!” She also learn early on about humility as the new kid on the block. Surrounded by legendary vets who knew their stuff, Childers realized she still couldn’t get a handle on something so elementary to them as blocking. Dealing with fan backlash against a character that at first appeared to be nothing more than a spoiled brat had to be mind-opening as well. It was. But she grew into her own as the character warmed up and warmed fans. Now, she feels so lucky and so satisfied to be where she is. –Soap Opera Digest, October 30, 2007
Even for a light-hearted funny guy like Colin Egglesfield (Josh), enduring the long days and some nights of the Mardi Gras Ball shoot back in 2006 took its toll. At first, Egglesfield said, everybody was stoked, with this summer stock slumber party vibe, but towards the end, “nobody wanted to see each other’s face [laughs].” Egglesfield mentioned another drawback, other than going crazy with the long hours of the shoot and wait and shoot some more under dreary, dirty conditions, trying to sleep in his dressing room in vain (the intercom blares out notices constantly) and the directors losing their cool at the jabbering actors. He and the others suffered pains in their feet from having to stand around in scenes in fancy dress shoes and heels on concrete flooring. The women suffered more, he added. Then, Superman Cameron Mathison (Ryan) came to the rescue and earned the love and adoration of everyone in the cast by providing a massage therapist. Fortified with fellowship, card games, coffee and sweets, the gang made it through. –Soap Opera Digest, “The Longest Day,” October 30, 2007
To say it was hard leaving AMC’s Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), for Alexa Havins (ex-Babe), was an understatement of epic proportions. Havins reported that the two had to keep it together for the cameras, and even the exit party, for fear of breaking down together in tears. But by the time Eakes escorted “baby doll” to the elevator for the final goodbye, forget it. “…it was such a moment. It was should have been on TV.” –Soap Opera Digest, October 30, 2007

For November Sweeps, AMC’s PTB plan to go with some celebrity stunt casting, using a big celebrity.
Kendall’s Alicia Minshew might be the big name not so big on her current storyline turn (turning on Greenlee), and about to bolt.
Imagine my surprise and disgust upon opening up recent pages of the TV Guide while out and about on my recent Vegas, baby trip, and reading that Cameron Mathison (Ryan) is from General Hospital in a write-up about Dancing With The Stars. WTF?! People, people, do your homework. Where the hell was Michael Logan?
