Previews for the week of 05-Nov-2007
by Carol Banks Weber
Tad is being a total ass to Krystal about Adam. When he sees her falling for the bad boy rocker again, he prohibits her from allowing their child Jenny near the guy, like Krystal’s an errant teenager.
But how can Krystal turn a deaf ear and blind eye to Adam when he just dropped all his pretenses as Stuart, to court her all over again, hat in hand?
Feeling she has no choice about her own heart, Krystal shows Tad good faith by showing Adam a restraining order. Yet, she falls headlong into habit, and her former husband’s arms and into the bed, despite her good intentions.
Erica melts as she cradles her grandson, Ian. They meet and bond in true, typical soap fashion.
Joe believes Erica is up to something.
Kendall recreates (sort of) the scene of the crime (in her head), where Greenlee plots to run off with Spike. But this time, she means to fabricate evidence guaranteeing Greenlee’s arrest.
When Kendall learns from Zach of his own plans for vengeance, and how those plans played into her misunderstanding of what Greenlee was overheard saying… Kendall feels sick to her stomach with remorse.
As the police escort Greenlee into custody and into the police station for booking, she grows more and more vexed at the lengths to which Kendall went to frame her.
Jackson takes Greenlee’s side over Kendall’s, letting Erica know in no uncertain terms that he will do what it takes to help his daughter and ruin Kendall—if need be.
Erica makes it look real bad for Greenlee by playing up to the paparazzi as to her guilt by mental instability.
Opal see right through Erica’s innocent act.
Opal and Joe lecture Erica about knocking it off with her high school attacks against Greenlee.
Zach sticks to his guns about Greenlee, imparting his firm opinion that she’s getting what she deserves and that Kendall should not waste one second of guilt on that backstabbing child-napper.
Ryan reads Kendall and Zach the riot act over what they’ve tried to do to Greenlee. All the lectures in the world from Ryan don’t move Zach one bit.
Jack works on Kendall to listen to the angel on her shoulder, and be compassionate with Greenlee, let her off the hook.
Kendall can’t take the guilt anymore. She forewarns Erica and Zach that she’s going to tell the truth in court and free Greenlee.
Aidan will not abide by a wrongly imprisoned Greenlee. So he sets about ensuring her freedom, at the cost to her life as a legal citizen of the United States. Without giving away his own plans to spring her from the courthouse, Aidan asks Greenlee to just plead as if she’s owning up to guilt in the kidnapping attempt, he’ll handle the rest.
Greenlee does as Aidan asks, implicitly believing in him. (She also throws in a few choice words for Kendall.) He causes an explosion to rock the courthouse and turn on the fire sprinklers—just enough time to whisk her away to a safehouse disguised as a fireman.
Ryan catches Aidan going off with Greenlee during the courthouse melee. Instead of busting them, he pretends he didn’t see a thing.
During the arraignment hearing, though, Kendall was about to confess to framing Greenlee when the explosion happened.
Babe stresses to JR that having sex with him that one time doesn’t mean she’s suddenly prepared to remarry him.
JR throws himself into his alcoholism out of utter despair.
Finding out that his leukemia will assuredly kill him soon leaves Richie with nothing to lose, so might as well have some fun menacing Ryan.
Richie messes with Annie’s fragile mind.
Lily agrees to go out with Richie.
Next week: Zach and Kendall brace for some Greenlee vengeance… Kendall blames Zach for putting them both in this trepidation-filled position… Greenlee wars between good and evil to act maturely, decently, correctly after so many have wronged her wrongly… Aidan and Greenlee make themselves fugitives, but oh-so romantic and happy fugitives, if but for a moment. They celebrate their new-found, ill-gotten freedom by engaging in some hot carnal knowledge… Before Greenlee and Aidan can satiate themselves again, the law comes storming in. Not before Greenlee makes a run for it… The cops take Aidan and Jack into custody… Greenlee notices Zach in a state of distress, and reaches out to assist… Hannah confides in Tad about Adam’s extortion of her, using knowledge of her affair with Zach’s father against her… Tad bullies Krystal into taking sides, his or Adam’s… Richie continues to evade the hand of Ryan’s justice… This guy named Tom, a witness to what Richie has done in the past, rats him out to Ryan. Seems Richie murdered a boy in cold blood as a child himself. In retaliation, Richie goes after Tom… Richie makes it all look like JR’s doing… Richie sweet-talks Babe into believing he’s just a guy facing the fatal diagnosis of untreatable leukemia, and that big, bad Ryan is being mean to him for no reason.
