Alright, today is going to be awesome. I fully expect Jacob to win the emmy for his performance today!!! But then again, i've said that before!

I know he was great in those scenes!!! But I don't trust the emmy people. I still can't believe he, Alicia and Rebecca were all overlooked this year.

Well at least its being acknowledged....I've heard various people, both associated with AMC and not, all saying he shouldn't have been overlooked. That's something at least.

confidence - he is awesome. i wish i could have watched todays show. never miss it but an emergency came up and didn't have time to set my dvd to record. could beat myself for missing today. but can i turn back to my shallow alter ego and say - how can ANYBODY look him in the eyes and ever not give him what he asks for? but i have the same issue with jon on the show!

Jacob is knocking it out of the partk today as well! If he would submit these two episodes, he'd have it made!

He could almost pick any of his scenes to submit and do fine. But those judges are being paid off I think, ha ha!

Something is off in that voting process, that's for sure.

Maybe they don't want to admit that they never got around to actually watching the submitted tapes so they drew names out of a hat.
Do you guys remember someone (I can't remember who) who was on the judging panel for movie awards and he admitted that if a movie came to his house that he didn't feel like watching, he would let his wife or kids watch them and fill out the form? He was kicked off the voting panel for that. Sometimes I wonder if some of the daytime emmy judges just get too busy and they let their kids scribble on the ballot and they send it in.

I heard it has something to do with the voting process on each show. I think how it works is, they have to have a certain amount of votes to get through, and naturally people only vote for their own show. If they put forward two strong candidates, the vote is split and neither gets enough to make it to the next round....but the problem with that theory is, how did both Tony Geary and Maurice Bernard make it through?
I don't get it.
