An excerpt from a thread at SOC:
From SID:
Kaye says he welcomes the on air friendship and loves seeing pal Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) on a daily basis but doesn’t approve of the way the soap treated her return and Sabine Singh’s (Ex Greenlee) exit. “What I think is kind of uncool is. The real Greenlee is coming back” he says, referring to the ABC’s promos of Budig’s homecoming. “I don’t know who the “Real” Greenlee is. I just know that the scenes I did with a very talented young lady are part of the story we’re telling now.”

The toad pulled his head out of his ass for a few minutes, yay! I agree with him too.

What I find ironic about the whole thing is how some actors speak out and get fired, yet he (and Leven) are not closed-mouth and they get nada. WTH? In this case he's right, but still...

Good point. I do agree with what he said, though, much to my chagrin!! ;D

I know! TK is making more and more sense to me lately and that scares me! ;D BTW, 'chagrin' is one of my favorite words. I use it a lot

I completely agree with you Beth. I can sort of understand TK having more "clout" with storylines or freedom to spew speak out since he's been on ABC's soaps for over a decade now but come on. Those two in particular never shut up.

That's what really bugs me - there's no repercussions for him. But even MEK, who's been on off and on for 25 years has no clout. He himself told us in August he had no say when it came to Tad being the killer. And even DC had little say when it came to Adam leaving KWAK in labor. But TK and Leven get a free pass? What's up with that?
And call me crazy, and it's just my opinion, but I feel like they're screwing with Jeff on purpose - keeping him on contract, but refusing to use him. To me that is the ultimate insult, and I hate, hate, hate this show now for that.

That's my sentiments exactly! And that's why I've decided to stop watching the show. I've always known on some level I was a fan of JB's and then AMC, but this just cements it. I have too much respect for him professionally and personally to support a show that would screw him (and others) like that.

Again, I completely agree with you on the last part. They're not using him but he can't go and do other projects either I have a theory that someone in charge is still pissed he didn't adore and publicly gush over his gump/jily storylines.

I hate to say it, Niki, but I had the same thought. I have no proof, just this bad feeling that he's being 'punished' for something along those lines. I really hope I'm wrong and he's working on other projects or something. The DC was all heresay, but from what I understand he disagreed with that scene and the only thing TIIC would concede was that Adam could throw her a cell phone. Yeah, they really listened to DC The thing about Tad being the killer came from MEK himself. He was kind of making fun of it, but sadly there was an underlying truth to it. He actually thought he was going to be out of a job after that. Assholes! I don't mean to sound like a certain fanatic fan of his (I think you know who I mean ). I just can't stand the thought of it going down like this. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong...

Tad being the what's his name's killer didn't make any sense and was just...wrong! It's Tad! He wouldn't torture and kill someone. I hope we're wrong too, about Jeff.
