still no air date to my knowledge but here is a recap from one fan...
First off...Jeff looked amazing as always...came out a little sheepish I thought in the beginning...but sooned warmed up with Lisa and Ty...his hair is starting to grow out a bit and is looking cute...he talked a bit about SSW and how it was a workoutand how he was amazed at how many fans there really are out there...he wasn't quite ready for it!!! ...he talked about The governor of Texas giving him the Key to the City...I am assuming at the Fun In The Sun Event in Dallas for Jeff's work with abused women and bringing awareness to that...he said he missed Elizabeth...(Maggie)...He talked about playing the part of Jonathan with the brain tumor and how he got advice from a doctor who has brain tumor patients...and all of the various levels of that...and getting back your speech...saying that sometimes it happens gradually and sometimes it all comes back at once...also saying that there are many documented cases of brain tumor patients who have done very uncharacteristic things due to how the tumor was affecting the brain....so that what the show was portraying was more realistic than some people think. It has been my personal experience sad to say, that brain tumor patients also can pass away. One of my clients/friends of many years passed away a week after surgery. His speech was much like Jonathan's and he was child like after the surgery. He was a very vital person who designed and built dinosaurs for national parks, the movie industry and so on. Very sad. I thought he had the flu...not a brain tumor...it shocked us all. Then there was a second segment...I was very happy for that...as they did a cooking segment...I tried like crazy to find a chef's hat and apron for Jeff...in case he cooked...but I had very limited time and the chef store I used to frequent had closed...(I took a culinary arts program for fun, some time back.) Anyway!!! I ended up going into a place called Tom's Farm...which isn't too far from where I live...and it is like a little paradise of cool shops...ferris wheel and all...I went into to the candy, nut, and fruit store...and picked out some very nice things and had a basket made up for him with them all. It included some gourmet hot chocolates, Maine blueberry pancake mix, Eggnog Christmas cookies, cider, Cranberry cookies, cinnamon gummy santas, a santa pop, and much much more...they did a beautiful job wrapping everything up and in record time. I hope Jeff enjoys it! He was so thankful for it...hugs twice :-) During the cooking segment...they made what he called Love foods I believe. Morsels that you can eat with a hot date LOL....to not get too stuffed for the GOOD STUFF LOLOL...one item was dates stuffed with almonds, wrapped in bacon, broiled I believe he said...then served with goat cheese...personally, goat cheese and me do not agree...YIKES...so I would have used Cream cheese as a variation...and I would use Mejoul dates cuz I am a brat who likes my dates wicked CREAMY and big...LOLOL. Hey, it's not just me! Lisa was making so many sexual blunders during the show...had us all laughing alot. Oh, the recipes will be on the Soaptalk website... Lots of other good stuff on the show too...little dancers that looked like they were from Harlem, but not...they were amazing and adorable... This show is definately one to tape and if I get the air date, I will post it...but I am sure Christine will be on top of that... Ok, gotta run for now...hope this was a decent, informative post for you all...:-) Kristyl
