I just wanted to say how disgusted I was watching JR accuse Jon of child molesting. I usually don't let JR or anything he says get to me but today I couldn't sit though the whole episode. What he said made me jump of the couch and say "WTF!" He was such a jerk today! I can't really comment on the rest of the episode because I have yet to see it but I just wanted to say how appalled I was. Never before have I been so furious within the first few minutes of AMC!...Anyone care to comment?

I hated that too. JR had no right. And Jonathan was so hurt! JR went way too far with Jonathan. Jonathan wasn't hurting anyone. My heart breaks for Jonathan!

Zoe,
I'll reply because I'm feeling a special feeling of loathing and disgust towards most everyone that was on the show today. BUT, JR's accusations, assumptions insuinuations, whatever about molestation towards Hockett Clause was to me, way out of bounds - even for a soap opera.
Hey, there are just certain things that you don't make light of or throw around for the heck of it, and child molestation is one of them. The fact that these writers would so blithely throw that out there for NO REASON other than to yet again make JR look like a total jackass, makes me scratch my head and wonder just what planet these writers are actually from. Must be Uranus. They crossed a big line with that one.
Today's show really pissed me off. Excuse my language.

Trixie I agree with you 100%! I don't think even St. Bianca's return will make me want to watch the rest of todays episode. What JR said to Jon really crossed the line of decency. What was the point of him accusing Jon like that anyway? You're right. It made him look like an even bigger a$$! I want to go back to liking JR, but after today I'm not such how long it would be...or if it is even possible. Although last year I hated Jon...Now I can't get enough of him. LOL! Anything is possible.

Zoe - I also didn't like Jon last year. In fact, I found him UNinterestingly disturbing. But now he's INTERESTINGLY DISTURBING. Jonathon should always be a bit disturbing. It's part of his charm But that's what's great about watching soap operas. We get to change our minds! Well, sometimes it's obvious the writers are trying to force us to- but I'm not buying it! i.e. the following: I don't care if Babe walks on water, makes blind people see and rescues stray kitties, I will never like Babe. Add Kwak and Ryan (Julia, also, but she's not on enough to make me feel that oh-so-constant hatred) to that list. But Jonathon, well, he has risen above the carp (purposely misspelled).

Hey, there are just certain things that you don't make light of or throw around for the heck of it, and child molestation is one of them. "i love jr" pointed out on another board that this might be foreshadowing because Erin may have been molested by Patrick. Jonathan's reaction to JR's accusation was one of shock, horror, and visible hurt. Maybe this accusation was particularly painful for Jonathan because of what happened in his "home". It was very painful for me to see JR go off on Jonathan like that!

Alright, you guys know I LOVE JR, so I'm going to be brave and stick up for my husband here. The accusation of Jonathan molesting children was JR over reacting to seeing a past murderer and kidnapper holding his son. JR bursting out like that was understandable - he felt like his son was in danger (and Babe was understandable, too - I just think her revealing Jonathan and his crimes, one of them including kidnapping, was hypocritical.) It hurt to see Jonathan say that JR doesn't deserve his son! JR looked so hurt.... As a HUGE Jonathan fan: I didn't feel like Jonathan should have been humiliated like that in public...but like I said, they reacted to seeing him holding their son. But him being accused of child molestion was disgusting.....but him looking so hurt after being accused of it and saying "I would never hurt children." made me think Erin was molested at home. God, it hurt to watch the scenes since I LOVE both of them!!

it really disgusted me! I could not even tolerate jr for a few minutes during that episode! It was very hard to watch. Way too far AMC, way too far.
