I've rescued two dogs, I'm proud to say. My first dog was named Jake, and sadly, he went over the rainbow bridge one year ago today. He had Addison's Disease, Hypothyroidism, and a brain tumor. It was one of the worst things I ever had to go through. Here's a picture of my first fur baby! Jake 10/7/99-12/10/04 One week later I saw this guy and fell in love. I couldn't stand one more day in my home without a dog, so here is my second fur baby: Ben

Aw, sorry to hear about Jake. Both dogs are sooo cute! I always wanted a dog, but my parents wouldn't allow me to have one. I had fish......but they died...and I still don't have a pet. But, when I went to Canada in August, I saw a deer and ducks and I took pictures of them! lol. Here's the deer (you really have to look, he's behind the middle tree.): and here are pictures of ducks: They aren't my pets...but I thought they were so cute, lol.

Liz, So sorry to hear of Jake. I would've said that sooner, but it just made me sad to see those pictures I'm a major animal lover. Especially dogs. My husband wants to get one right now since he's working from our home (YE GADS!) and he swears he'll take care of it (uh, huh. sure) and he keeps going onto these Animal Rescue internet sites and the Humane Society and he makes me look at these pictures of all these adorable dogs and then tells me they'll be put down if someone doesn't adopt them soon. Hey, I have to go into the bathroom and cry. The few charaties I always give to are the Humane Society and the Animal Rescue and the SPCA. Adriana, I loved your deer and ducks pictures. I have a strange affection for ducks. Also penquins.

Okay, Trixie, I officially LOVE your husband!!!! I do the same thing, go on the adoption sites to look for yet one more dog to adopt. Benny needs a playmate or he'll soon be getting a boot to the teeth! ;D ;D Okay, I'm just kidding, but he acts like he's on speed all the time. Running, jumping, etc. He wants to play CONSTANTLY, and frankly, I don't have the energy to keep up with him. He's so lucky that I ADORE him!

Oh yeah, I love animals. My cats rule this house, honestly, we just spoil them rotten. But they are so cute....they are both white and fluffy with green eyes and pink ears. LOL Can't get much cuter than that.

I'm looking to get a digital camera before I go on vacation in January though, so I'll try to put some up before I go. I warn you though....they are suprisingly fat. LMAO.

LOL. Mine are both former stray cats, basically...we just took them in but they look like pure breds or something I swear. One of them I think is half-persian, he has this MASSIVE tail.
Needless to say tumbleweeds of cat hair fly through our house on a regular basis. But we love them anyway.

Minkie, I can sympathize with the tumbleweeds!! I have two kitties - sisters from the same litter - but one is fat and long-haired and the other is tiny and short haired. Both are black-and-white. The short haired is a tuxedo cat.
I have about a zillion pictures, so I'll try to post one. They always seem to do something cute that I have to take a photo of.

Finally able to post my kitty pics: this is my furball, PJ... And another one (she does this when she tries to sleep during the day by the big window)... And this is my little one, India. She LOVES to play in the water! (As long as she controls the amount of water that touches her)...
