I hate that I get so tired early nowdays!! - I miss ALLL the fun stuff!!
O.k., let's see if I can throw in my 2 cents:
Flail, it has gotten too weird and too hostile over at SOC, so don't feel bad my friend for any of the posts you've written. I've read most of them and you always conduct yourself with respect and insight.
(Only people who know what you REALLy mean will catch the sarcasm... tee hee!)
Jeff Branson is a Sex God!!!! And Tex - I've been looking for that picture of the red couch!!! I love it too!! I wanted to use it to replace the Happy New Years photo in my sig, but found this one of the "buddies" instead.
Texas rocks. Probably such a large percentage comes from here because it's such a darn big state!! It takes forever to get from one major city to another.
Tex, I loved, loved, loved your post about the Zack-lovers that have filtered over from other boards. You're dead on - - they have come with an agenda and it's mucking up the board.
Well, that should bring me up to speed!! ;D

ROFLAMO - so true... no matter how many times I may say I'm ready for it, I know I'm not. ;D

You know what? You can never be truly ready for a baby unless you've had one before and know what it's like. But, you could also have a baby that sleeps well right away. My brother slept the whole night the day he was brought home from the hospital, and so did my friend's daughter. It's not as common, but it could happen. Julia was a good sleeper, too. Vince didn't sleep until he was 9 months old, and still it wasn't every day.

Oh geez, if I have a child that sleeps well right away, it may convince me to have another!! That may be considered false advertising if I have another and it's a terror!! ;D ;D

and it works!!
Platinum, neither child will be what you expect, but they're worth it. Julia and Vince ADORE each other, so I'm glad I had two. I never wanted kids (just never cared either way), but Andrew did, so I had one. I said I'd have one and see how it went. I didn't want another one until Julia was two, and saw how she'd benefit from having a sibling. She's just too full of love to be an only child. Well, it worked out great for us.

Having two worked out well for me too. Mine are close in age (20 mths apart) and have a lot of the same interests

I'm the same way Liz, didn't really even want kids until I was 27, then decided to wait a year before we started trying. The plan is to have one and see how I feel about having another later on.
My sister told me that if I do decide to have another, wait until the first one is potty trained! LOL!!
