first of all my issue here is probably annoying. one of those "i wish i had those problems" - well if i dug into my real problems i'd make ya cry so we'll stick with these. i'd stay up all night and sleep all day. think it was my meds. but instantly a couple of days ago BOOM - up at 9:00 AM. bout time i started joining the world!!! But even tho i have been getting plenty of sleep i can barely keep my eyes open. anyone know if this is a normal adjusting period - kinda a jet leg thing (never had jet leg!!) i'm barely even on the puter. help me!

I would assume it's an adjustment period. Your body is changing it's cycle, so that's probably why you feel like this!

i liked my vampire sleep schedule. there is zero for tv in the am.

I hope you can get your old sleep habits back! If they were working for you then I don't see any reason to change them.

Ive had days where I've done nothing and felt exhausted. It's weird. But anyway anytime I was on a crappy sleep schedule I would try to force my way out of it, including staying up for 24 hours and forcing myself to conk out at a normal hour. LOL. It sometimes works really well.
But anyway its normal, I've had that happen all the time...

minkie - i was trying to get out of that schedule but not a jump like this!!!!!! i'm sure i'll be a better in a day or two!!!!!! ;D ;D i love the night - much better than the sun killing my eyes or all the annoying kids around here (parents around here don't watch their kids) and my kitties sleep with me in the day!!!!! i'll get over it!!!!

LOL sometimes its easier to shock your system than slowly adjust...i tried to slow method once, it never worked. I just got less sleep, period.
my friend had the same problem actually, he sleeps all day and is up all night, finds it really hard to get up during the day.

Charity - I honestly don't know how you do it what with a kid and all. I have no advise because I have had insomnia my whole entire life. My mother said from the day I was born I never slept. And I believe her. My mom has bags under her eyes that date back from the 1950s. I go to bed at say 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, but I still get up at 3:00 am. I then read, check the computer (in case there are other insomniacs around) and then have some Snapple, read some more then doze off for an hour and get up and go to work. Sometimes I sit out on my patio and sneak a cigarette. No wonder I look so old. Good luck to you, Charity. Sleep is my nemisis. And my husband just says "I'm going to bed, now" and he does. And he falls promptly asleep. I really hate him.

oh i hate people like that.....LOL it takes me hours to fall asleep, and i'm a restless sleeper too. And a light sleeper. Everything wakes me up. LIke the stupid people ringing our doorbell at 8:30am. I hate them. I hate them a lot.

ha ha minkie!!!! it should be illegal for anyone to knock on the door or ring a doorbell in the AM!!!! and TRIXIE - kallie is in school during the day. but today i was up at 8:30 - it's getting worse!!!!!

i used to go to bed at 5 or 6am. last night i was laying in my room watching tv by 10. asleep by 10:30. - slept like 10 hours.
