i don't know if you've realized but kallie and i have a special relationship. of course she is good at being an 11 year old BUT she is amazing.
she almost died at birth. i was 22 and so ignorant about kids. i didn't even know how to change a diaper!!!!!
she is way too funny and goofy.
she is an awesome student - just tested and in 6th grade reads at the junior level in highschool.
she is a wonderful dancer - ballet, jazz, tap, celtic, modern, and hip hop. she has a full scholarship cause her teacher says she is one of the best dancers she's ever had. and about 50% of her students go on to get scholarships. and kallie loves it - no pressure from me at all!!
possesions mean nothing to her. when the drunk b!tch let us go we were homeless for a year. we gave up everything but what can fit in a small car. slept in the car for some of that time and one night she looked at me and said none of this matters. she said to me she doesn't need anything as long as we have each other. she meant it. for christmas she already told me she doesn't want any gifts (too bad because she is getting some)
she has learned more life lessons then most adults but doesn't let it bring her down.
she can always make you laugh. she has a heart of gold. and, as she has always said, it's me and her against the world!!!!
now - if i can just get her to do her chores without asking 100 times!!!!!!!!

Cheers to two strong, wonderful women. And after all that, I think I'd let her slide on the chores once in a while

thanks for the nice words. but it's all kallie. she kept me strong. annoying as it is - that is why i talk about her a lot. i know she's a tween but we've been thru a lot so until she pulls the apron strings and i have to cut them we are (gawd am i really going to say this?) 2 peas in a pod.
