D'OH! I suppose it would have helped if I had told you my name at least...lmao! ;D You type in my name Kimberly Cantu...there is another Kim Cantu up there. Her middle name is Ann....that's not me. I'm Kimberly Roxanne Cantu. I also published one as....don't laugh...Kimberliah Roxanne Zeppelin....LMFAO!!! ;D ;D ;D I'll try to get you all the links if it lets me... BTW I draw from sadness and pain for my poems and songs. I wrote one called "Sweet Suicide"...It wasn't even about suicide! It was about the death of your soul as a result of conformity. I was of course in high school at the time...LOL! ;D

Here's one of my poems that I posted in a blog last year...
It's almost 2am and I'm still awake. Tell me, little dreamers, what sleeping pill I should take? I've taken one but it hasn't taken effect. Restless I'm trying to learn another dialect. I've taken two but they still won't work. It's in the shadows. I've seen it lurk. Three down the hatch and dizziness occurs. My heart slows down. My vision blurs With a sudden sense of slumber and some of fright, I must say to you all bye and bid you goodnight.

Charity, I'm so glad you don't think haiku suck. I've just gotten into reading haiku and I'm loving it. I admire the brevity of haiku. It blows me away that so few words can convey so much.

Zoe, I read your poems on poetry.com and they're really good. The one about your friend Jesse was especially moving. I'm sorry that you lost such a dear friend.

Thank you LL and Beth! Jesse was my best friend from our first day of school in Kindergarten. In 3rd grade, it was discovered that he had a malignant brain tumor. He was only 10 years old. It killed me to lose him. His twin brother Johnny never got over it either. That's probably why I'm so protective of my friends. Thank you again. You all mean a lot to me.

What a terrible thing for children to have to go through. That must have been so painful for you and utterly devastating for Johnny. To lose a twin must be one of the most horrible loses anyone can endure.

Thank you all so much. Your kind words mean the world to me. Joining Second Chances was one of the best things I've ever done. I got to meet so many wonderful people. I'm on the verge of crying now...I love my SC family!

Zoe, not to sound like "Zarf/Zoe", but you have a beautiful soul and it shines through in your poetry and your posts and in all the kind things you do for others on the board. Kind people rock!
