1. Heroin 2. Cocaine 3. Barbiturates 4. Street methadone 5. Alcohol 6. Ketamine 7. Benzodiazepines 8. Amphetamine 9. Tobacco 10. Buprenorphine 11. Cannabis 12. Solvents 13. 4-MTA 14. LSD 15. Methylphenidate 16. Anabolic steroids 17. GHB 18. Ecstasy 19. Alkyl nitrates 20. Khat"

Alcohol is the gateway drug for most kids. Not pot. I say if alchohol and nicotine (both of which cause way more problems than pot) are legal weed should be legal. It makes no sense to crowd our jails for nickle and dime pot possesion. They're letting violent offenders go early to make room for some stoner dude who has never harmed anyone but his own brain cells. Yeah, keep those stoners off the street and let the rapists and child molesters go free. And, no, I don't smoke weed. I did twice in college (and yes I inhaled both times) and I liked it. Would I smoke it occassionaly for recreational purposes if it were legal? Heck, yeah. Just like most of the people I know have a few drinks on the weekend when they get together with friends. I don't understand the double standard---their buzz is okey dokey but mine would get me arrested and possibly sent to prison. My experience has been that it is the drunks who can get rowdy and violent. Stoners just want some snacks. ;D

Street methadone? As opposed to home methadone? I didn't realize there was a difference.

i've heard of it - as opposed to the methadone given in clinics. i don'tknow if it is different cause they put stuff in it or if they home make it without the exact amounts of stuff? ?

That makes sense. I used to give it out at hospital, but it had more to do with long term pain control. I didn't realize there was a difference

i'm sure it's easier for the dealers to make it or doctor it up then to get it like they would pills. BTW - remind me to lock kallie up soon. the dealers already work on middle school kids

Gawd, that's scary. They dealt drugs right outside the ER. (I worked at a county hospital). I can't believe I didn't get hazard pay for working there.

Ah, the preteen years. I have those to look forward to. Of course mine doesn't listen to me now so I don't suppose there'll be much difference ;D

Rolling eyeballs at you is better than rolling joints in front of you. Street meth is definitely worse that Avenue meth or the lesser-known, Cul-de-sac meth. I tried the Cul-de-sac and all I did was go out and buy a lot of inappropriate shoes. Other than LSD Wait, those spiders keep coming back! Okay, I'm good now - I'm still not sure what a lot of these other things are. Except alcohol and tobacco. Unfortunately. All joking aside, that's a pretty long list. And it's sad when someone who just wants cookie dough and then falls asleep is in the same jail cell as a guy named Killer "But You Can Call Me Janey". JMO.
