A painful, horrifying death.

I obviously fear things like my kid getting hurt or not being able to see him grow... but after all that my big fear is the West Nile Virus.

BEES!!! And let me tell you a little story. Last night I walk out on my front porch and my street is commandeered by EMS, Firefighters, policeman etc. Apparently, one of them was trying to help a lady who locked herself out of her house - and he stepped on a nest. Bees were swarming. Everyone's okay, but I hardly slept

;D ;D ;D I don't mind bees so much. It's the effing hornets and wasps that freak me out! Bees look kinda fuzzy and friendly. Wasps just look like little winged demons. Which they are!!

Don't get me started on hornets and wasps - and yellow jackets. Those little winged devil spawns should go to hell. Maybe I'll take a non flame retardant aerosol spray and have a little fiery fun with my lighter

Go for it, Beth. As Gandalf would say, "Smite their ruin on the mountainside!" Or wherever you may find them.

I hate bees. I HATE AND DESPISE flies. But I'm afraid of slugs. I have nightmares that they have suddenly developed the ability to slither swiftly and latch themselves onto my legs. It makes me cry. And my husband thinks it's funny. I won't even buy snail or slug killer stuff because it has a picture of said slime-crawling-oozing-creepy-why-are-they-even-here gastropods on the front of the package. Which means I might accidently touch the picture. Which means I'll have to cry in public. And well, I can't do that. I just avoid all gardening sections in all stores. And I just know that the snail I threw over the fence last week (while wadded up in fifteen double-ply paper towels) is going to show up at my front door tomorrow wanting to know what the hell that was all about (an old, bad joke). Anyway, I'm sceered of slimey, oozing, pustule-type things.
