Hmmm.... I saw Epic Movie when it came out and hated it. It was too short and not very funny. It's not very recent but Spill, what's the craptacular movie you saw?

Someone told me (and I REALLY wish I could remember who it was now) that I should watch this Kate Winslet movie called Little Children because it was totally my kind of movie. So I bought it. I needed a couple movies to watch on a plane ride anyway. I didn't end up watching it though until a few weeks ago with Adam.
Worst. Movie. Ever. Period.
First of all, KW plays a character who hates her husband and feels like her daughter is a burden on her lifestyle and personal time. How is this something I care to watch?
Plus, the main guy is a guy with no ambition and leeches off his successful wife. And he's supposed to be the sympathetic hero of the movie. WHAT?? Oh yeah - and he's a LIAR too.
The third central character is a pedophile. I'm not even kidding you.
Adultery plays a main part in the movie too. And using kids for your own selfish gain.
At one point, they leave two small children alone in one part of the house while they go off and have sex. I wanted to break my TV.
None of this movie even screams my name. Adam still gives me a hard time and tells me I can never pick another movie again. It was really terrible.

Uh, I'd be a little offended if someone told me this was my kind of movie. ;D

I know Niki! That's why I'm wracking my brain trying to remember who said that!

Uhm, I read the book a few months ago but haven't seen the movie. I thought the book was an okay read but nothing to rave about.
