This worked opposite for me. Sneaky husband. When we first got married he washed a couple of really nice expensive sweaters of mine that were dry clean only and they ended up hardly fitting the cat. So now we do our own laundry.
Funny thing how he's never ruined any of HIS clothes.... hmmmm....

ok - not only ashamed that i have elmo and spongebob underwear - - never give a child permission to pick out 2 pair of underwear for you and yes - they are perfect for laundry day!! but trixie - can't get out of sewing buttons?? ok - this thread is turning into my stupid moments but in 7th grade we were required to take a shop class, home ec cooking, and home ec sewing. 3rd day of sewing - we were sewing lines on paper to get use to the machine. i guess i should say i'm a natural born clutz. i somehow caught my thumb in the machine and my brain decided to shut down and didn't tell me to take my damn foot off the pedal. i had to go to the hospital for stitches. ha ha - i was excused from sewing. they thru me in study hall. so i really can't sew on a button!!!!! can't be hard but i'm afraid i'll have 7th grade sewing flashbacks!!!!!! button falls off - put a safety pin on the inside. if it is obvious - it's the garbage. useless!!!!!
