I've heard rumors that there are actually people who don't like donuts. I don't believe that for a second. That's just propaganda put out by the toast people. ;D ;D ;D ;D The toast people! I love it!

I`m not a spy from the toast people but I CAN`T HAVE donuts!
I am coeliac so have to have everything gluten free . can track down most gluten free substitutes here ( even choc chip muffins! ) but no luck with croissants or more importantly your orbs of heavenly delight Elana . I dream about the glazed ones and the jam cream ones......I`m salivating as I write!
Please don`t tell me they`re available in America as I`m not allowed to ship any food products to here . Australia have sniffer dogs here at customs searching for fruit especially . I kid you not , you can be fined for bringing in an orange!

Skye - I feel for you I also can't have donuts, cookies, cake OR ANYTHING. Not even pizza. And forget ice cream. And that was always my very favorite. Eggs Benedict, italian food with cream sauce and forget french food. And donuts. Man, I miss my Entemanns I am severely latose intolerent. It took two years until I found this out, during which I was thought to have an ulcer, kidney problems and a variety of expensive doctors' visits. It's depressing. I literally drool at Elana's pictures. And sometimes I weep quietly. My husband will try to console me while he's holding a giant slice of pepperoni pizza. I think this is grounds for divorce. I haven't been able to get around it except that when I'm really needing a baked-good fix, I make it at home with all sorts of substitutions. It's just not the same, though I've managed to gain weight, anyway. Elana's pictures are the best. I can taste them. Ah, memories.
