No TV?! Well, that settles it. I'm not moving in with him no matter how many times he asks or how hard he begs.

I saw that, too. It's a deal breaker alright. I couldn't survive without TV Kinda shocking that all the soaps are in trouble, too. We all know AMC sucks, but I thought some were doing ok.

I'm not gonna give up "House" and "Lost." (Well, maybe I would for Raoul. Or Clive Owen. Or Hugh. Or Christian. ) Surely Mr. Scott has a TV so he can watch DVDs?

James has mentioned watching DVDs so I guess he uses his laptop/computer. It's kind of like cheating to say you don't watch TV and then watch whole seasons (Little Britain) on DVD and while I would agree that DAYS is pretty much 'mind clutter' but just because I watch it on my computer doesn't make it any better or worse LOL just easier to FF through.
IA that there is a lot of junk on TV but there are a lot of good shows too.

When AMC was only sorta horrible I enjoyed watching it on dvd so I could ff through most of it. But then it became so excessively awful that I just gave it up altogether.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what medium it comes in. AMC could be chocolate covered and it will still suck ;D
