Sometimes, I just can't help myself! JHC & BF just got a "Tad & Dixie" email with a nod to Rendall. ( At this point, I could send a letter reguarding set design and somehow work Rendall in! ;D ;D ;D ) Dear: Ms. Carruthers I simply wanted to let you know how much I genuinely enjoyed watching the All My Children's episodes for both Friday May 30th. and Monday, June 2, 2008. Cady McClain, Michael E. Knight and the writers responsible for their scenes should be commended for their work. It occurred to me as I watched, I was seeing something one may not find on soaps, often anymore: good storytelling involving solid, classic, romance! On a personal note, I honestly don't think I've enjoyed watching an episode, as much, since late 2005, when "Ryan Lavery" and "Kendall Hart" very nearly reconciled. Is there any way Cady McClain can be re-hired on a permanent basis? I'm sure there are many "Tad and Dixie" fans who would love to see "Dixie" return 'in the flesh'. It would be an absolute shame, if during a period of such wonderful writing, that Cady McClain and Michael E. Knight weren't given the fullest opportunity to allow their immense talent and acting chemistry to come shining through, on screen. Sincerely, Lori

Wonderfully said, Lori. In fact, your letter is much better writing than AMC has had in a long time. Keep writing those letters and maybe some of it will sink into their tiny little minds.

Thank you, Beth, Liz and Amy for your kind words! While I've never considered myself fanatical about soaps, I am a 'soap fan'. I guess, it's an outgrowth of the whole Rendall/Zen thing, since I've been messageboarding. But, when I see performances/scenes that really work , for me at least. I figure one of tptb needs to hear about it. It seems like the zens are so quick to zip of an email or a letter, the rest of the fans (Rendall or any other characters/actors) may get overshadowed . Honestly, that may be a misperception, I don't really know. I just like the idea that tptb understand there are other voices/opinions out there, besides what may be heard from one specific group of fans. Lori
