Former AMC Star Lands Gig on The Young and the Restless
TV Guide is reporting that Billy Miller (ex-Richie; AMC) has been cast as John and Jill Abbott's son Billy on The Young and the Restless. The former All My Children, star was let go from last month from the ABC soap. Last seen in Genoa City, the youngest Abbott heir was at his father's funeral shortly before moving to Hong Kong with big sis Ashley and his niece Abby who have both since relocated to Los Angeles. No word on the actor's first airdate. www.daytimeconfidential.com/2008/08/former-amc-star-lands-gig-on-the-young-and-the-restless

That just proves that once again Y&R is got some pretty smart people in the casting dept. They seem to snap up a lot of AMC's actors that have been let go. I wasn't much of a fan of the character, but I thought Billy Miller was pretty good.

Billy Miller did a really good job! Honestly, in his most recent scenes, on AMC, I've gotten a kick out of Ritchie being Annie's hallucination. "Stepford Annie" has left the building! Who knew her best scene partner would be a pipe wrench?! ;D ;D ;D On a (slightly) more serious note, do we know if Billy Miller's character, on Y&R, is an antagonist or a protagonist? Lori

Good for him for landing a gig on Y&R!!!!!
Lori, I think his character is supposed to be a good guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if they give the character a bit more of an edge.

Good Evening, Brandon! Heck, I'd catch an episode of Y&R just to see how they started Billy Miller out, on the show...Ironically, I sort of keep up w/it already...SOAPnet seems to show a repeat of it, right before AMC comes on ( BTW, does anybody think "Victor" is buried where his new wife is supposed to be? )
