Just because I can, I'm ranting about life.
Rant one: shoes that magically fit in the store yet not at home.
WTF is up with this?!? Either I'm totally retarded or it's some sort of bad karma. This happens to me ALL THE TIME. In the store, yep they feel fine. They you get home and (like today) where them out and come home limping. DAMN YOU SHOES!!!!
Now I can never wear them. And they weren't cheap. ARGH.
Rand two: graduation ceremonies that make you stand for hours in high heel shoes. Damn you again shoes. My school ever so nicely had me stand (no sit, god forbid they give us CHAIRS or anything) for over two hours in some waiting hallway (not even a room!) and ten walk half way across campus to where the ceremony was. I'm excuse me, I didn't come to the damn thing in sneakers, you know. Again I came home limping.
My solution: there should be a company out there that makes custom shoes. Make a mold of my feet and make me the BEST SHOES EVER. LOL.

Minkie, that sucks about graduation. I was so glad we had chairs at mine because I was part of a large graduating class in college and I couldn't have stood through all of that PLUS the longest speech known to man. (We had a guest speaker who was really enjoying her moment in the spotlight!)

Well we had chairs during the ceremony (or i had a bench anyway). it was the waiting beforehand that we didn't have chairs, which I thought was stupid. They told us to show up at 1pm for robing, but the thing didn't start until 3pm. They expected us to stand there for two hours.
I said screw it and sat on the floor ON their robe. Ha.

We had to buy our robes. Which was ridiculous because what are you supposed to do with that afterwards? There's really no social function to attend where this would be appropriate to wear.

We rented ours but got to keep the hats. LOL. Which is a nice souvenir, I guess. My undergraduate convocation we didn't even have hats, and you rented the robes.

Oh we threw the hats and didn't want to pick a random one off the flor. So there went that. But truthfully, I'd have never worn that again either.

Well it was nice still. Long but nice, and my feet hurt at the end (I shouldn't have worn heels but...whatever).
I'm thinking of having a bonfire for all my school notes. LOL.

You should!!
I kept some of mine from some key classes and I never look att hem. they just take up space. At least a bonfire would be fun for a minute.

I still have a pile of notes/outlines/books that I could totally burn up. That would be so liberating.

Ummmm...couldn't you SELL your old school notes? ;D Not really. There aren't tests or anything that has common knowledge that everyone has to know. It's more individual, you are graded mostly on presentations and a term paper. They couldn't hand that in without possibly getting caught for plagarism. The notes only help me, no one else.
