happened last night? I just can't do it . Congratulations to everyone who cared about the race and who voted in historic numbers. The involvement of so many people who usually don't care and the number of new voters is testament to the fact that our democratic process is not dead. It still has a beating heart. (I have 1 niece and 2 nephews who got to vote for the first time in this historical election. They were so exited and I was a proud, weepy aunt. How embarrassing! Geez, Aunt Amy.) So, whether your candidate won or lost the election I think we all won because of the interest and passion and attention that so many put into this election. So GOOD JOB AMERICA---you have earned a pat on the back for caring enough to do the right thing---and that's get engaged in the political process and vote! I love you America and I love you my board buddies.

I was just pleased so many more people got involved in the process...How's that for an apolitical answer? Lori

Lori, that was very no-partisan and neutral. I think you may have a future in the diplomatic arena. I think I'll email Obama and ask him to consider you for an Ambassadorship. What's your country of choice?

excellent sentiments
My hubby and i are having election withdrawal still
It was our first election to witness and it fascinated us .
We used to watch the news or laptop articles all the time . Total election junkies .
I even neglected propping Ryan and Rendall on sOc
Thank goodness it al finished in time for the Zianca Baby and ZENNAGEDDON!
Amy LL you`re Christmas avatar is the single most beautiful Christmas picture I have ever seen .
Reminds me of the " Bishop`s Wife " era . I expect to see Clarence toddling along anytime looking for David Niven`s house .

What's your country of choice? ;D ;D Amy, sorry after all this time, I just saw your post ;D ;D The irony of what you said is: my mom used to say refering to me, "always the peace keeper" when my family (largely Republican--and I being the only Democrat) would get on something politcal--I would try very hard to stear clear of conflict. So, I guess, I went on "auto pilot" with my response. My country of choice? Hmmm...Let me think. Somewhere, with a temperate climate. I don't do well with snow. Lori
