I'm with you, Brandon. I'm not saying there isn't a future in webseries, but for something that has existed on tv for so long it inevitably will not be the same. Sometime it's just best to cut your losses.

I don't know...Maybe it's just a chance for our beloved ( is that too strong of a word)genre to continue within another format. I'd rather see that than have soaps completely go the way of mood rings and and the double popcicle.
Honestly, I wouldn't care if product placement meant "Ryan Lalvery" drank Florida Orange Juice at breakfast, and "Dorian Lord" had Campbell's soup for lunch. I'm hoping it's a properly funded media experiment --that really works.

So rumor has it that they may not be exclusive to the web, and that Prospect Park is shopping them around to various cable channels to air once they take over production of both shows. Though they'll still probably debut online first. I think that might work out better than just online only, since they'll at least still be on TV.

Personally, I'd be tickled pink if one of the cable networks picked up either AMC or OLTL (hopefully both). Going online to see my soaps is darned near impossible, right now...I have a low- tech computer (very little short term memory) and 'no-tech'internet service i.e. dialup. So, I'd love to see these shows somehow on tv, if I had my way.
