Uh oh, what happened, Elana?? I'm not watching because both my kids are sick. Julia might have strep throat, so I'm a little worried.

omg it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! It was in the cabin scenes, and in the scenes in Aiden's office. It's like they lost a tripod for "camera 3" and he had to do it handheld...only they didn't use a steadycam!!! (woah, too many TV courses for me!)

It really was bad. I'm suprised they let it air like that.

I'm wondering if they didn't do the handheld camera on purpose---their lame way of making the scenes more "intense" and "immidiate." Maybe the director was a big fan of "Homicide: LIfe on the Street." Remember the weird camera angles when Josh was going around accusing everyone of killing his father? Oooh, how edgy.

it probably was planned. I loved "Homicide:Life on the Street". The camera work was edgy and fit the setting. Here it was annoying and disconcerting. I hated the weird camera work during the Josh confrontation scenes and hated the camera work today

;D Yep, I don't think AMC should be trying out "edgy" camera styles! "Homicide" they are not! Man, I miss that show. I miss Frank and Tim and Meldrake. I love me some Aidan but he's no Frank Pembleton.

also Homicide didn't use the weird camera stuff a lot.. it was mostly done only in the 'box' where it was to show the way the detectives would grill the suspects and break them down. I miss Homicide too!

Elena, I've been Netflixing it and it's still just awesome television. It kinda makes everything else on right now seem even suckier.

It kind of looked like they were going to do another different camera trick tomorrow for the "Grand Opening." (from the previews)
