I offically get to post in this thread now! As of today I am the assistant membership director at the st paul Jcc. Don't ask me what I do, because even after 6 hours of training today, I have no idea.... Congratulations, Elana!!! Sorry things are confusing but I'll bet by the end of the month you'll be running the place.

Congratulations Elana ! Good luck ! Did you manage to pretend to stay awake ? My husband is in meetings all day sometimes on this current project & he finds them very frustrating . And dull .
The only one that kept up his interest was bizzarely funny . He was being translated by a French canadian who was really working on his English . So the translator was so caught up in his studies that he forgot to translate into French but instead repeated everything my husband said in a heavy French accent ala Inspector Clouseau! !
Everyone struggled to keep a straight face until he was reminded to change to French .

I'm a published author and illustrator, plus I'm a Sales Manager for that same publishing company. We're based out of White Plains, NY. I get to travel to trade shows around the country hawking my wares... and I'm also in charge of about 250 sales reps around the US and Canada.

Anything really. The one that was published was on Mythology. It is a children's activity book. You can google "Scratch & Sketch Dragons & Mythical Creatures. "

Those are really neat looking! I'll admit I'm curious about The Secret Life of Reindeer. Congratulations on being published, from the little I've seen your very talented and creative.

My occupation? Does being a hopeless JS fan count? I occupy myself doing mostly what I want! LOL! Sad but true. It's a wonderful life-for me anyway.

That definitely counts Cindy! I am a professional and rather pathetic Rendall fan . I leap out every morning at 6am wave Mr skye off then delve on the net for any scrap of a forthcoming reunion . It is a hopeless , friutless ritual that i perform every day . Other than that I have been a professional " settle the family in new continent (er) " This takes up to a year . This is our second year so i`ve had a bit of time to myself . When we settle more permanently probably The States ( in all its daily amc transmitting glory!) I will look at taking up the pre school Elementary or Montessori teaching again . I used to be good at it , teach up to 33 5/6 yr olds with no aid . Then run pre entrant courses speaking to 50 plus parents . Now I drop off my little 4 yr old and invariably have to return with her bag which is still hung on my shoulder . She goes to two different pre schools and I have been known to turn up to the wrong one on the wrong day ! ! I do not know what happened to my brain cells .
