OMG MINKIE!!! I LOVE Les Miz!!! I've never seen it though!!! *sobs* I have the soundtrack memorized though. Last time i was in NYC it was still running, but i chose to see "The Full Monty: the musical" instead of Les Miz! The good thing, Full Monty was phenomal, and hilarious! The bad thing, Les Miz closed the next month!!! *tear* So i never got to see it!!
On the BRIGHT SIDE! It is Re-opening in NYC for 6 months only, starting this november, i believe!

I have seen Les Miz twice! This is so great! I must go to NYC and see it when it re-opens. I do have the "10th Anniversary Edition" on DVD. You may want to check it out, Flail!

Growing up my family went to see at least one broadway show a year. Over the years I saw Peter Pan, Annie, My one and only, The mystery of edwind drood, 42nd street, Big River (my favorite), the tap dance kid, A chorus Line, Into the woods (my other fave), and a bunch more I'm forgetting.

wow! That's great elana! I've heard Big River is great, and i like the music from it. Into the Woods is another great one i'd like to see. My friend was in the Mystery of Edwind Drood at Northwestern University. I've performed a lot of songs from 42nd street, and A Chorus LIne.

Both Big River and Into the Woods are very fun plays. PBS occassionally shows a version of Into the Woods they taped straight off broadway- it's also out on video and dvd so you could try looking for it. Bernadette Peters stars as the witch. www.imdb.com/title/tt0099851/Big River is pretty different for a musical- I loved it. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was never more interesting.
