Thanks for the welcome, everyone!
It will be an interesting thing when I get out and ,platinum,i'll share some stories. I have to admit I'm nervous but itching to get out of school.
Trixie, I wanted to go the Disney route for a long time ,too, and if they offer me a job I'll take it in a heartbeat. But my goal is Pixar right now. They're #1 in the business and I loved Nemo and Toy Story 1&2... and the list could go on for days...but that's my career goal. I know what you mean about computer animation. All my buds are computer animators or modelers (really good ones), but what's great about my job is it's conceptual art. So I get to draw how it looks then they put it and model it in the computer. thank God they still need people to draw. Oh, and one of my friends just finished his own independant claymation flick and is going to send it to me soon. So you live in California, huh? It's a pretty good place to live- expensive, though.
Okay, I've babbled on way too much for my first day....

Pixar did Monsters, Inc too, right? Loved that movie! Even after the 1,000th time my nephew wanted to watch it.

Trixie, I am not suprised taht you would want to do the animations for Disney. They have QUITE the reputation!! Yes, and so did my photography teacher! His name was Mr. Valentine. Need I say more? He was cute, and I was the only girl in the whole class. He offered to get me an "in" with Disney. With, yes I believe there were a few "strings" attached I declined. WHAT A STUPID IDIOT I WAS! No, just kidding. Well, sort of ;D Meg - you have great opportunities ahead! GO FOR IT! At least your class project probably won't be a re-enactment of Gunsmoke as performed by Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. Sadly, that was mine. But I was a GREAT Miss Kitty.

Elana - You're NOT boring! No way! And at least you're a stay-at-home-mom. You have a purpose! I'm just a, well, I don't know WHAT the heck I am. But I don't seem to have much purpose Okay, I'm the keeper of the duct tape. I guess that's sort of important. Okay, not really I wish I COULD get that tape of the Potato Heads do Gunsmoke. It would be a major party killer! ;D It was pretty stupid. But also pretty hysterical! I often wonder whatever happened to Mr. Valentine? Hmmmm. He probably has several restraining orders against him. But he was pretty cute
