Did you get some antibiotics and some flippin' relief? Again, you have my deepest sympathy. The only time I've ever been to the emergency room was for a bladder infection. OMG, the pain. I hope you got out of going to work. If you did go then you're my new hero.

Thanks guys for asking. I spent the afternoon at Urgent Care. I've never been there before, and by the name of it I kept expecting people rushing in with power tools embedded in some body part while "urgently" requesting medical care. But instead, everyone was lounging around reading magazines and talking on their cell phones - "Oh, no big deal dear, I was trying to cut that big tree down in our back yard, tripped on a rake and the chainsaw went off. Wait, the Good Housekeeping magazine from 1982 just became available! Gotta go!" Anyway, I got some meds, took today off from work and am hoping to feel somewhat better by tomorrow. I still feel like ca-ca though. So I'm sorry if I'm not so amusing. By the way, I watched AMC today. Big mistake while feeling nauseaus beforehand.

Ah, Charity, I have learned my lesson well. From now on, I will ask if this show requires a) tequilla, b) dramamine, c) heroine, d) all of the above or e) a coma. I don't tape. Ever. I gave that up around 1991. But I was home today, and I watched. And I'm very sorry I did. I will ALWAYS ask you guys if it's safe to do so from now on. We all need to watch out for each other, after all.

You guys are sooo nice The meds are finally kicking in. I'm starting to feel better, but I'm REALLY TIRED. I've been working all week (with one day off), but I think I'm ready to kick some butt and take names. Of course I'll have to make up names considering on the best of days I can't even remember my own. As a side story: The first day I started feeling really bad, I went grocery shopping. I picked out the most unfunctioning grocery cart there was ( for some reason, this ALWAYS happens to me ). So I'm limping around the aisles with my gimpy self and my really gimpy cart and I put a HUGE jar of salsa in my little kid part of the cart and it falls through and splats all over the aisle and my legs and feet. This poor guy comes along and thinks that I have severly injured myself. I tell him it's only salsa. But THEN, a blind guy walks down the aisle with a white cane and he's just about ready to stick his cane in the salsa mess on the floor and I say VERY LOUDLY "Stay to your left". He did. He also said "Thank you". But the best part was I got to yell "CLEAN UP ON AISLE TWO!" ;D So, anyway, I'm feeling better, thanks Oh wait, I had a FIVE HOUR phone conversation with a friend whom I see quite frequently. She's wondering if it's normal to feel like stabbing her husband. I said absolutely. Uh, oh.

;D ;D heck - i wanted to do that to my exfiance sometimes.
and trixie - your not the only one. i can go to a brand new store with brand new carts and i get the bad one!!!!!
i'm glad you are feeling better!!! i hope you really yelled "clean up in aisle 2" because about a year ago i dropped some jelly all over. kallie and I actually did yell for it!!! just like at home depot i was looking for a piece of wood for extra protection for my patio door - i had the length i needed. we wandered around the wood department. i was about to use the saw myself but kallie was smart enough not to let me. we literally started shouting: customer service in the lumber dept. i think people cringe when we enter a store - esp walmart!!!

Charity! ;D Actually, I DID yell Clean up on Aisle Two! Better yet, the guy who thought I was bleeding from a Salsa attack said "We should yell Clean Up on Aisle, um Which Aisle Are We On?', and I looked up and said "Two". So BOTH of us yelled it! I could see that this was the highlight of his day and that he and his SO were going to be laughing about this at dinner. Plus, I went up to one of the check-out guys and said "I've always wanted to say this, and actually I just did, but for the record you need to call for a CLEAN UP ON AISLE TWO! He knows who I am so he handed me the phone and said "Go for it!". And no, I didn't. But I thought about it And what else could I add? "GET RID OF YOUR GIMPY CARTS AND QUIT PUTTING MERCHANDISE THAT I NEED ON THE TOP SHELVES BECAUSE I CAN'T REACH THEM!" Oh, great. I have to go grocery shopping again tomorrow.
